Love that you embraced using your fingers. I don’t wanna be the only one with stained cuticles. It does help to put lotion or Vaseline on your hands first. Gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@JMoPainting the paints glass paint i mentioned earlier, are acrylic based, so dried as hard as paint and last for decades. I've still got pieces i painted 25 yrs ago !
Came out beautiful. If I may suggest - blowing with a straw or hand billow will help considerably. The heat gun dries to quickly and doesn't let the ink flow naturally.
You could use a small hair dryer that wouldn't put out so much heat, and may actually have a cool setting so you don't melt the plastic. the Flower hair dryer is small and easy to control.
@@JMoPaintingoh and a Boysenberry is a cross between a European blackberry and European raspberry. The only thing I really remember is as a kid I wouldn’t eat them, because I thought they were poison berries!! 😂
I live how you just went from color to color, it looks amazing!! I'll be back to check out the end result but had to leave a comment before I spaced. I love this idea, great idea Virginia 😁❤
I had to pop back and see the results Johnny. This was beautiful. I can imagine us all getting our materials together and creating together. I love how this turned out and the last touches made it beautifully complete 🥰🎨
That was fun to watch your excitement at the way the colours reacted, but you can get thicker types of the plastic that you used that is heat resistant and did you wipe the surface with a damp cloth to get rid of dust. But it looks so much better when in place loved it keep it coming please
I commend you for this. I definitely would not have the patience for that. Lol. The work I've seen so far has been beautiful. Hoping to see many more.✌️
Ohhhh, we need to send you some BOYSENBERRY JAM! 😋 My shock when you said you didn't know what a boysenberry is was TO THE CORE as I grew up spending loads of time at what may be the most famous former boysenberry farm: Knott's Berry Farm!
Love it!!! I'm glad you spread out the blue and purple. They did look black. Boysenberry is a fruit like raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, etc. You're heating plastic. Maybe has something to do with the "pilling". Like your sleeve.
I forgot to say in your live video to make sure to spray the ink art with Kamar UV protection. Very light coats so it doesn’t bleed. Creators have said the let’s resin inks fade less than others. I haven’t tested that. ❤❤❤❤❤
This is an amazing idea and I know why it was heating your plastic you were using a heat gun try using a brush dryer without the brush on cool setting it really makes a difference you will be amazed Revlon males one
Loved this video. Where could I purchase these inks and alcohol ink from in New Zealand and the plastic that you used? I would really love to give this a try.
Have you tried using Blending Solution instead. It is ethanol based rather than isopropanol. I don't know about the other brands you used, but Ranger/Tim Holtz inks are ethanol based so it might play better.
Prussian blue can be more difficult to use especially if it’s a true Prussian blue chemically speaking. So if the brand isn’t really high quality it will react differently than the other blues. It’s very pretty though.
Hey, I’m going to try to send you my cell number to see if you want to talk through any of this as well m not sure how well my explanation will work in a post like this. It is want surprising to me that you had issues with separating paint due to the surface tension between the paint and the smooth surface of the plastic. Think about when someone uses regular markers on glass or a smooth surface, it does the same thing. This is because the ink/paint is looking for something to adhere to but when it doesn’t, it separates. The primary issue you are having is most likely due to dirt, grime and oils that were previously put on the plastic. When ink reacts to these foreign substances, they disband and flee from the source. Most likely, when you put the sheet of plastic out, oils and dirts stuck to the plastic and caused the issues. There are a couple solutions for this. The first is to clean the surface prior to painting. You can use basic alcohol to scrub it down and let dry or you can lightly sand the material to give the ink something to stick to and then clean with alcohol. another suggestion with the blowing of the inks is to use either a straw and breath or canned air. The warm air machine you are using causes early drying and isn’t powerful enough to make the designs you are looking for.
I love stained glass and this has the look without the cost. It looks beautiful in the window. ❤
Thank you so much!!
OMG. That's stunning. It gives off a gorgeous glow of color.❤❤❤
I can’t believe how pretty it is in the light!! Thank you so much!!
Your better half?!? Congrats dude! May you share life full of love, trust, and laughter.
Very excited to see it in the window ❤
Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow the way the color plays on the window sill all around is magnificent! Its like a kaleidoscope
I agree it’s like magic! Thank you so much!!
Wow!!! That came out lovely! I love alcohol inks...I use them in my polymer clay jewelry and my resin artwork all the time.
Love that you embraced using your fingers. I don’t wanna be the only one with stained cuticles. It does help to put lotion or Vaseline on your hands first. Gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great way to cheer up any window
It surely is! Thank you so much!

That wounds fantastic! Gorgeous works of art all over the place!
@@JMoPainting i am curious to know how you attached the sheet to the window, or is it the kind of film designed especially for putting on glass
It is window film from Amazon. Thank you so much. The window film is at the top of the description

Thank you so much!! I will try one out and see how it does, appreciate the tip
The window turned out so colorful and Pretty. And adds privacy. Looks like stained glass in the window. Very beautiful 😊❤
Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much Cassie, I will tell her for you!
If you orient it so that green is on the bottom it looks like a stairway to heaven.
This is amazing! Looks so cool on the window. I love how you’re branching out to new ways to create art! Keep up the great work!

Boysenberry is a small berry that grows on bushes like trees-a bit bitter, more red.
I have a glass table I been wanting to paint and I think this will be perfect.😊
Do it on the underside, that was a huge mistake i made years ago.
That is a great Idea!!
Very true, the inks are really a easy to scratch on a hard surface that has a lot of traffic

Thank you so much, for the complement and the advice I really appreciate you!
Glass or plexie glass all come with a film to protect the product. It is not always easy to peal off. In my experience.
My inks are watery... 🧐 I really like purple 💜
Thank you Loretta, what brand of inks do you use?
I believe boisenbery is a cross between a blackberry and a raspberry.
Okay thank you! Never heard of it before
Can you show what it looks like from the outside? Esp at night with light coming from the house.
I will take a photo tonight and put it in the community tab so you can see it
Beautiful !!
Thank you so much!!

it’s beautiful! How did you mount it on the window glass?
Thank you so much! Its a window film from amazon. Remove the backing and add water to the window and it sticks there - amzn.to/45RFBlT

wow. nice
Can you layer alcohol inks similar to acrylic paint?
Awesome
Thank you so much!!
Use your air brush without paint to move the ink.
Love your videos
Not sure what strength of alcohol you are using but 99% is better since it has less water and will evaporate faster to the dried state.
Prussian blue can be more difficult to use especially if it’s a true Prussian blue chemically speaking. So if the brand isn’t really high quality it will react differently than the other blues. It’s very pretty though.
Try dr ph Martin bombas inks
Luckily using the alcohol "erases" the ink from the skin also. 😊
