I actually thought Abe was the groom to be which is why he was there criticizing his fiancé’s dresses for their wedding and why he gave her a top hat veil.
Such a tiny detail, but I loved the black clips in the back when the dresses clearly fit her already. Was surprised they didn't do the cliche "Let's see it with the veil!" and have Abe change his mind. XD
Funny sketch! In real life, though, Abe was not critical of others. He would choose to not to say anything at all. To the extent… they found a letter addressed to some general where Abe said how disappointed he was that the general had not acted when he was supposed to and ended the Civil War sooner. But it was very courteously written. And Abe never sent it… just left it in his drawer.
Hilarious! I am a woman who actively detests stores that sell clothing. I work full time and my last goal I never made was to go bankrupt trying to look pretty in my wedding dress. Thank goodness for Honest Abe! 😄
This is the second time I've seen something reference Abe Lincoln saying something negative about a dress. I was wondering, what was the original story?
i love how abe's relation to the family is left unexplained
Yep
I actually thought Abe was the groom to be which is why he was there criticizing his fiancé’s dresses for their wedding and why he gave her a top hat veil.
He’s Abraham Lincoln… end of story
@@lia578 I kind of did to because of the hat he gave her.🎩
Actually though!!!!!!!!

I was totally expecting them to go that route! 😆 The clips were unexpected though.
I don't know what Abe was thinking but I think Austin looked really great in those dresses!
Who else thinks honest Abe needs to be a recurring character???
"I cannot tell a lie"
"that's a George Washington quote"
"you get the point"
Thanks for saying it before i had to
The first dress was the best! It really suited her!
@@mildredthegoat8340 agreed
It’s lovely!
This sketch was so funny!! Austin lying on the ground sobbing, Got me so much! 🤣
"Can me hear me?"
I swear Dalton has the BEST faces.
“Can someone please tell me why we’re taking fashion advice from a man with a ferret on his chin?”
**Abe strolling in the background**
Great sketch, you guys dish out a gem every now and again.
I honestly thought he put a trashcan on her head!! 🤣🤣
Me too, at first.
All the dresses were fine. The trashcan on her head wasn't though.
😆
Garret does a really good job as Abraham Lincon.
She know what's going to happen to Abe Lincoln when he goes to the theater it is why she said no 😂 nice video
Going shopping with women can make you feel like you entered the store four score and 7 years ago
Haha This is hilarious! Can you do the George Washington one?! Cause I would so binge watch these!
Definitely one of my favorite of the recent sketches! I’m a sucker for a well done historical reference, though.
"well, off to the theater..." 😯🤣
I cried
This was funny as Abe was so honest it was borderline mean
"Well, off to the theater ... Wait, Abe! Don't go there!"
Apparently his mother didn't teach him "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
My sister and I have multiple inside jokes based on this sketch.🤣🤣
Being honest and being right aren't the same thing.
Please do another this is amazing!!!
I love this Abe character! Keep him!!
"ANYWAY, OFF TO THE THEATER" YOU DIDN'T!!!

Really really well done!!
Abe is Brutally Honest
"Anyway, off to the theatre" 🤣
that first dress was literally so cute tho!
"...and I can't let her lie to herself"
Gold.
“i’m going to the theatre” 😭😭
She was stunning in all of them
The title and concept alone had me laugh out loud. Funny execution. LOL not the Gettes her a-Dress😂
The veil hat is actually kinda cute
Garret looks dashing as Abe!! Black suits him well!!
That girl doesn't need a dress to be pretty 😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍.
Abe: “Anyway off to the theatre”
Sarah: *slow realisation* “Wait Abe don’t go there!”
Hilarious! Great job. Also, aside from that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
"It's mind-blowing!"
@@semblanteelmerg.5956 🤦♂
“It knocked me dead!”
First Studio C I've watched in awhile, really funny 🤣
Austin is amazing!! Also she made a lot better Abraham Lincoln!!
Abe has a pretty good eye for dresses. The last one is beautiful. That stovepipe hat though...it's a no. 🤣
The second dress was really pretty. But the clips in the back made me laugh.😅 I'm off to the theater.
Could we have follow up with Abe and George both on the couch?!
@Jessica Drolet!!! I missed you!!!
She isn’t back. This is an old sketch that was reposted
Dalton needing to stoop under the curtain 😂
3:54 She is wearing a trash can on her head. That made me chuckle.
It's a tophat
Last one looks like the “trash”
First one looks amazing!!
The first and last ones were good although I agree the last one was the best. The ones in between were kinda ugly
Absolutely love Neil in this!!
The tho was fire goes great with the dress
I... love this!
"Off to the theatre" Maybe too soon?
Hilarious! I am a woman who actively detests stores that sell clothing.
I work full time and my last goal I never made was to go bankrupt trying to look pretty in my wedding dress. Thank goodness for Honest Abe! 😄
I MISS AUSTIN 💜💜💜
Such a good ideab
i'm simping for Austin...
The girl in middle aww something about her 😍
Tori?
Honestly, because of the tension, I feel like mom and Abe used to date or something like that.
I honestly think the 2nd dress was perfect. I don't know what Abe thought was so "white trash can with lace" about it... 😆
I want more "Oh Snapes" -Raegan
Gettysburg adDRESS
This is the second time I've seen something reference Abe Lincoln saying something negative about a dress. I was wondering, what was the original story?
They all look good on her. But the first and the last dress were very nice.
Imagine the greatest TH-camr ever oh wait it’s right in front of us
Waaaait is this a repost or something?? I swear I’ve seen it before
Anyway off to the theatre😶
oh he's dead
Love the very last dress. Very becoming on her. Forgot her name though... ^^;
James K. Polk is a pretty solid pick for favorite president.
did anyone see that they kept using the same two dresses?!
Tori is my dream girl.
Speaking of the dress- Blue and black or white and gold?
So George what do u think, should people like this comment or not? They should if they liked the amazing video!
Well, at least George had a fun time.
This was insane.
Oh Abe
All they needed was Cosmo Kramer :)
Did the hat and veil remind anyone else of the parent trap?
❤️
This was from DC.
Honestly…Abe’s pick wasn’t doing it for me. I think Dalton was right about taking fashion advice from ferret chin 🤣
If you had introduced the first modeler as Gettysburg, the Gettysburg a dress pun would have landed harder. Just saying. Still liked it.
This was a remake of an old video right?
all the new ones are, just not as good lol
@@BelleOfTheBrawl1 this isnt a remake though. It is just an old sketch reposted
Nevermind I misunderstood your question it isn’t a remake it was just reposted
my fav president is kennedy
Is it just me or was she slightly too emotionally invested in those dresses? ;-)
Calvin Coolidge
Was that a They Might Be Giants song reference or just a coincidental presidential pick?
That's not honestly, that's harsh criticism
Right now jones and lamb
was the hat a trash can?
It was a really tall white top hat
He hast to be honest
honestly I liked the old cast better what I can not tell a lie.
Im kinda here for that hat
Theodore Roosevelt is the best president hands down.
There is honest, and there is being an Asshole about it, Abe.
The woman in the middle looks like Allison Mack
Her name is Tori
Well, that was silly.
He doesn't sound like the Abe Lincoln I know.
I’d like him to be more brutal. I know I would be. Honestly Abe the color of that hat doesn’t even match the dress.
Who was that who played Washington?
There's such thing as too honest
