I agree 100% this offer is nothing visual or new. If anything it takes away from the original method. I’m surprised you didn’t get flamed for saying that conditions are very clicky. Larry Jennings is a great magician though
@@Ley3w I was just re-reading “Designing Miracles” and figured he must be referring to this routine. This seems pretty convoluted. I watched the routine with the sound muted just for fun. There’s way too much picking up and putting down for my blood. I agree with Mr. Ortiz. Take a look at pg. 49.
@@Trickboy36 I believe he wasn't so much 'picking up and putting down' so much as more straightening the packets ..theses effects often are made up of standard classic counts and buckles ,biddle grips etc , there is little latitude for any truly interesting methods or unusual 'moves' so these 'ace' effects are largely similar which is why I don't bother with them ..I use a method from ECT for this plot which I've seen Jared kopf in use in his set I believe because of its lack of popularity
Sometimes I think the public shouldn't be allowed an opinion ..any serious student of sleight of hand or aspiring card men should note that jennings had legions of methods and was an amazing magician ..reading some of the comments just makes me sad 😔
It’s because the code is broken, and most people are giving away all the secrets and I’m afraid all it’s doing is destroying the art It’s the way of the world now ! 🥴
I have to agree. There was too much going on, cards passing from one place to another with meaningless context as to why. It was more of a display of technicality than a miracle. I fully agree it wasn't very good. If you're really into punchy stuff check out Paul Gordan.
/ void / check out Paul Gordon if you want to see watered down versions of Jerry Sadowitz tricks. As for meaningless context as to why Aces pass from one place to another...it’s an Ace Assembly...that’s what happens in them. Yes it’s pointless in the grand scheme of things...but so are most things.
I admire the master and his skill but I do believe the classic method is way more superior than this for laymen.

Great.....
I'm guessing this is the routine that Darwin Ortiz was so fond of in his book Designing Miracles...
Where exactly in the book ? I dont believe this particular routine is mention in the book, but I can be wrong.

@@Trickboy36 aha yes you are right. I actually re-read the book also last year and finally got the connection with this video!
