Tpo is not Thermoplastic POlyfin, it's Thermoplastic PolyOlefin. Hence where the O comes from. TPO has not been around for 30 years so it doesn't last 30 years on average. The oldest tpo ever isn't even that old. Modern TPO came in 2011 after the major scandals of 2003, 07, and 09. Systems prior to that had a different chemical composition and would disintegrate in the sun, the MRCA, SPRI, NRCA have touched on this at length in 2010-2011. You forgot Ballasted TPO. BUT admittedly, it's awful and deserves to be forgotten. Missing details on TPO is a real thing. There's so many tiny intricate details where a single tiny mistake can cause massive damage.
question- if you do layers of 2inch insulation- does that double the R value? and if you do put 2 layers of insulation- should you put a water vapor barrier in between each layer
I’m curious why y’all used insulation plates for attachment of the TPO membrane in your MARS assembly. They’re is no barbs on this plate so the TPO will be pulling on the fasteners only with out the aid of the plate and you have reduced the amount of wind uplift pressure the roof can handle now. Typically all manufacturers make a seam plate for a MARS assembly.

1 time per year. check if everything is ok around drainage and youre fine. if it leaks youll see it inside... which can be fixed easily
