These are awesome drums. I own the Guda Plus with the mystic scale and love it. Thanks for the great video comparison with quality sound work. Seems like the Plus wins on long sustain and emphasis on the notes' tonal strength. The Guda Double gives you greater flexibility and sounds more percussive while maybe sacrificing a bit of sustain because of the more open chamber (it has tongues on both sides). Regardless, any of these models is sure to suit your style when you want to add an atmospheric flare to your performance or simply to take a relaxing sound bath.
Thanks for your comment and for being our customer. Guda Coin and Ortus model have the longest sustain and resonance. Double has also long sustain, maybe even longer than Guda 2.0. Frankly speaking it is hard to make a review because the sound of the model also depends on the scale ...
@@ZENPercussion All great points, especially related to the scales. Part of my thinking comes from this observation at gudadrum.net, but your points are also part of the sonic equation.
"GUDA 2.0 model focusing on stabilization and purity of the sound. We also offer an additional option - removable wooden plug, which allows to mute the sound slightly and to shorten the sustain (it comes with the Plus model by default)."

expressed as minor scale degrees its: 1 3 5 6 7 1 2 3 5
its Equinox, a hexatonic minor scale in E. kinda similar
to pentatonic Akebono (123561235), but you get additional 7.

Which drum can i tune with magnets?
Guda Double, Guda 2.0 and Freezbee are made of magnetic stainless steel - you can use magnets with them, Coin and Ortus are made of brass and aluminum, they are non-magnetic alloys
