One thing I want to add after continued testing! After stunning them you have to be directly in front of them for it to target the eye! So there is some degree of aiming just like other weapons. But this is fairly easy to do. Iv spent many hours testing this. You are guaranteed a two shot if you are straight in front of the eye. This was not a stealth buff or anything. This should be working as intended and balanced. If you notice in my clips here I’m straight in front of the hulks. If you take an angle off to the side then it will hit the armor near the eye. Happy hulk hunting.
I didn't know it could 2 shot the dumpsters. TY!! The arc thrower wants to shoot center mass. It's perfect for headshots on a lot of enemies, but if they turn slightly, YOU CAN'T AIM IT BETTER. It just hits centered on whatever is facing you. I might be wrong, but that's what it looked like in your latter example.

no idea why I rarely see anyone else running this thing it is the strongest weapon in the game. only thing it struggles against is the big bois and we have railcannon strikes for those.
Originally I thought no it doesn’t matter. But terrain does seem to matter some. I have the most consistent two shots on flat terrain lined up straight with the hulks eye. This is usually a guaranteed two shot. You can still kill the hulks otherwise but it takes six shots.
just a PSA for all youtubers/ Helldivers(players)!! try not to call it a "BUILD" when there are NOT STATS involved nor classes. just be honest and call it "LOADOUTS"(from primary/armor/stratagems all the way down to the booster) as what they are.. :) also good to know on the arc thrower gonna go test it out and see if i can 2 shot them as well.

Yes you are correct! Centralize your self with them in flat terrain.
I do wish it still staggered the big guys but looks like it still does good damage!

Does the height difference between you and the hulk make a difference? Can you still kill it even if it has the high ground?

So, if your aim is good enough, even if the Hulk moves towards you, can you still 2-shot it before it kills you?
If you are on flat ground and line up straight with the hulk it will automatically arc towards its eye and two shot it.
