Thanks for your concern. Those who have done Phd in BME they shifted their field to petroleum engineering or now learning programming languages. I worked on cardiovascular stents and invented new surface topography of polymer coating
in my experience most folks working in aerospace fields go from specific routes like electrical, metallurgy, mechanical, computer science etc. the umbrella 'aerospace engineering' subject is less common. Likewise, in car manufacturing companies, you wouldn't see too many 'automobile engineers' but you will see many electrical, mechanical, software, material, structural, textile, chemical etc folks working together.
This. Many civils don't get their PE and they are stuck with jobs that only pay 40-50K a year. Once you get your PE, you are probably on your way to big management positions in the construction industry, which pays a good sum. Although, I still think it's questionable for this video to say that we are the second highest paid.
I'm a buildings engineer ? Do you really advise me to perform the Professional Engineering test ? Is it that good idea ? Is it better to take a one year master certificate from UK than preparing to the PE exam ? please advise me ..
My advise would be this: If you have trouble finding a job with a good company, then I would go for your masters. If you already found a good company, I would stay with that company for four years to get your PE. (In the US, you need to be in an engineering position for four years in order to get your PE. I'm not sure what the rules are for the UK)
Daniel ad if the industry vanishes then everyone starves to death and dies because we won't have gas and so farmers can't do they're jobs without equipment and electricity and they can't feed 7 billion people. So pray that it doesn't vanish.
Its not gonna die out in the next decade. its certainly dying in a few middle eastern countries. Nevertheless theyre still finding new sources of oil in other countries
Mechanical is an incredibly broad field with hundreds of sub-disciplines. I don't see why you list the sub disciplines for electrical engineers but not mechanical
According to indeed.com, the average salary for an industrial engineer in the US is $76,471. That’s almost $12k less than the last engineering field on this list. (Mechanical)
To get a true picture of average salaries, try taking into account ALL engineering degree holders of working age including those unemployed or working in menial jobs (caretaker, security guard, driver, etc.) who spend all their free time pursuing an engineering position to no avail. It is not as if there is a 100% employment rate for engineers. Many are shut out and after a few years away from their career they give up. Not worth the struggle.
Was it is in order of most paid from 1 to 10 or are these just in random order? Because Computer Eng ($110k) is no 3 but is has a greater annual pay than no. 1 Biomedical Eng($91k) :/
Every branch of engineering is depending on each another .We should appreciate to each other .If you have great interest and creative thinking in our own branch then you can bring more opportunities to you and others too.
really compare the civil enginner payment in video and compare it with software engineer the most paid is the software engineer even more the bio medical engineer
I laughed when they put biomedical as #1 lol 😂😂😂
Yah I too
Then you guys don't have any idea about biomedical engineering or any kind of engineering fields.
@@mehediromi1201 I'm a grad student in mechanical engineering. Speak for yourself please.
@@mehediromi1201 shut up
@@mehediromi1201 biomedical isn’t the highest paying, i hope you know that, also i thought they would include aerodynamic engineer as well tbh
I am a biomedical engineer from UK doing food delivery jovs
that sucks friend
What level of degree do you have? Cuz I hear it's hard to find anything for BME without a PhD in the subject.
Thanks for your concern. Those who have done Phd in BME they shifted their field to petroleum engineering or now learning programming languages. I worked on cardiovascular stents and invented new surface topography of polymer coating
NaturalHabitat_2.0 Yes , I also spend one week on one pound. But never begged anyone for help.
Universities in UK are shit, never come here for masters. They just suck your money . they teach shit. ,, hypocrite . especially scotland
where is aerospace engineering

*47* Gaming i know that what im going to be when i grow up
aerospace is very similar to mechanical.
absolutely no.
haha no it's not
Video was very inaccurate.
Brent Carbonell the order is wrong
ANY ENGINEERS HERE
Biomedical engineering is my dream!!!
actually petroleum is highest with avg of 105,000
Abel yeh this video is not accurate enough
Abel On my class that is about studying careers a Petroleum Engineer makes 120k as the median
why say so
civil engineers are the second most paid !!! r u kidding me ?
Once you have a PE in Civil, it makes a huge difference.
This. Many civils don't get their PE and they are stuck with jobs that only pay 40-50K a year. Once you get your PE, you are probably on your way to big management positions in the construction industry, which pays a good sum.

petroleum engineering is top of the top
That's under the umbrella of Chemical engineering
BoxinBiker except it's not.
Not really
But that will vanish soon
@@dilipkhdaloya791 how ?tell me
Petroleum is highest if you can find a job hahaha if the industry does not vanish in the following decade
Daniel ad if the industry vanishes then everyone starves to death and dies because we won't have gas and so farmers can't do they're jobs without equipment and electricity and they can't feed 7 billion people.
So pray that it doesn't vanish.
thats why we are currently shifting and researching more on biofuels.. which are renewable :)
It wont. Look up abiotic oil.
petroleum engineering will be around for the centuries to come until it runs out or we find a better alternative.
Its not gonna die out in the next decade. its certainly dying in a few middle eastern countries. Nevertheless theyre still finding new sources of oil in other countries
Meanwhile in India Engineering graduates apply for janitorial positions 😀
Geotechnical & mining engineering is one of the Tributary of CIVIL Engineering
What about Industrial and Systems Engineering?
In reality, software engineers earns more and mechanical engineers follow the highest earner. Civil engineers are lowest paid.
Depends on which country you work in.
Thor, which country do you live in?
What about aerospace, aeronautical, automotive, nuclear, electronics engineering??
Yugal Shrestha these are the sub-departments of the main departments.
Electrical Engineer was included. Unless...is electronics engineer different than an electrical engineer?
Right bro ....aerospace ,aeronautical these are also highly paid ...& these days they r in demand also
@@MathTutorVideos those are two different things
And marine
Mechanical is an incredibly broad field with hundreds of sub-disciplines. I don't see why you list the sub disciplines for electrical engineers but not mechanical
willca707 yes u are r8 mechanic engineers can go to other sub divisions and earn a lot more
true
bro i am getting worried because I applied for mechanical engineering in some universities and know i see that they don´t make too much money
WHERE IS INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING??????????????
Yes bro
Where is Industrial Engineering
1st we need to make sure if it is really "engineering" or a derivative of operations research techniques
According to indeed.com, the average salary for an industrial engineer in the US is $76,471. That’s almost $12k less than the last engineering field on this list. (Mechanical)
This would have been better if the countdown actually went in order of ranking, for either mean or max salary...
you were not realistic with your numbers
its a random... without any data.. where is electronics engineering, telecom engineering, aeronautical, ...etc???
what about aerospace engineering.... i kept waiting for it.
Divya Pateriya actually ur not the only one , i kept saying to myself that ill take it for college is it very amiable?
Kurata sagun yess
Divya Pateriya thanks for your answer :)
Same

True
I'm Both civil and environmental, I think i will do chemical engineering, too.
Is it true that Civil Eng are among the least paid engineers?
Yes, but the are sapete pari well
I'm sorry I didn't understand what you wrote
Quick Q; what is the difference between Computer engineering, Computer Software Engineering n Computer Hardware Engineering?
computer engineering includes computer science and engineering(software) and electrical and computer engineering(hardware) by the way ENGINEER>doctor
Everybody knows that petroleum engineering is where the moneys at
1980's being engineer was A proud.
Now it Just A Shame....
mechanical should be no 1 because mechanical is mother of all technology's
But it's not the highest paying.
computer engineering related fields are highest earners.
@@thornados4969 petroleum my man
its not the highest engineering paid so relax
did you forget aeronautical engineering
In the end, it doesn't matter if you're like the CEO of one of the companies in these fields lol
thanks sir
*Thanks for essential tips*
civil is the best period
very nice video
I do like the fact the mean is used, and not the average. That gives a far clearer view of reality. That said: What the actual fuck is this ranking?
civil engineering
Where is industrial engineering??
so, what is the level of Mechatronics ???
Every branch of engineering is depending on each another .We should appreciate to each other .If you have great interest and creative thinking in our own branch then you can bring more opportunities to you and others too.
I was surprised not to see petroleum engineers...
I know for a fact the civil engineering guy said “welcome to my office”
Where is aerospace engineering foool??
Is there no any ranking of electronic and communication engineering in top 10 ?
Wtf happened to petroleum engineering?
Do you need experience to be a mechanical engineer?? Cuz I know no shit about building stuff
THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO
Where is petroleum and aerospace engineering?
is there astronomical engineering in India ?
Bhanu Malhotra aerospace engeneering, good luck
Very wonderful..
The video without any knowledge ......
Environment
my point exactly
aerospace engineering has much more scope...n their salary is also upto that high level....where is it ??
no, this can't be true where is AEROSPACE ENGINEERING
these are all opinion based; what he says doesn't necessarily have to be true
These were unorganized like some of them went from 97k to 85k and this video’s about highest paying fields
where is instrumentation engineering
I m a Cse engineer getting only 20,000USD yearly. It's a lie.
The highest paying engineering job is petroleum engineering
Most paid in which country?
i thing its just from your imagination.....
you left main branches like marine, aeronaUTICAL and robotics
Great video amazing
where is IT engineering
Where is aerospace and aeronautical engineering?
oh thank god civil is no.2, coz that’s what I’m studying
Civil Engineering is my dream
In hungary, you get $9,300 annually as a materials engineer.....................
hahahah WTF?? talk about cheap labor lol
very helpful video🖒🖒
Are you mad? Where is Aerospace Engineering.
Plz share somthing on mechanical engineering its placements etc
Chemical engineering 🔥✌️
Would it really be that hard to order your list?
mechanical engineer is my dream
please like this if you also dream to be the same .
where is mechatronic engineering?
computer science must be on top
It’s not in order ?
What about aeronautical engineering
Where is nuclear engineering
Where is robotics?
What about industrial engineering
i am majoring it that it makes a mean of 367k a year
How hard is Computer Hardware Engineering?
yes were is aerospace engineering.
probably in the sub category of mechanical, electrical, or computer software engineering...
Have you ever heard of Petroleum Engineering.
where is nuclear engineering?
I want to be a biological engineer or software engineer
Ahmm how about IE? Or did I just missed it?

Did you forget IT engineering
Petroleum engineers gets paid the most and it wasn't in the list either. You should do more research
Could you tell me the best kind of engineering
