- In this small business studio vlog awe have a little bit of a disaster....two days before our products are due to go live we have recieved errors in them all! Lets work it out together and finally get this christmas shop update on the move!

I would just sell the cards as they are, I don't think anyone will think there's anything wrong with them with the lamination. So long as you can still write inside then just sell them as they are, no need to reduce them to seconds.
Okay we all know you're like the sweetest most talented person and artist but I also wanted to note that your outfits and makeup are always so cute and trendy, I've been following you for years and you never miss!! You're and inspiration on literally every level!! 💕👏💕
I think the mate paper on the inside makes perfect sense! I would sell them just as they are!
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about the lamination too much. Just sell them as two different options and make unlamented a little cheaper and contact the company to get your money back.
I sell greeting cards too and some of my customers prefer the unlamented matte look. They’re super cute regardless, I know it’s hard to not fixate on it being perfect, but I’m sure people will be happy with either version.
I think I’ve been saying this a lot but I really appreciate videos like this, I’ve been struggling to keep up with posting on my Etsy shop and social media. I work full time and some family issues have left me burned out, so it’s like you showing your last minute madness makes me think okay not everyone has it together all the time lol. We’re too hard on ourselves!

I love how you got from disaster with the dtf to win, win, win, for you, for a local business and for us viewers. And it's incredible you've shared a manufacturer with us as well. I have no issue with finding my own in alibaba but it is always great to see a user and a product from a specific place to really see how it turns out. You are (will you ever get tired of hearing it!!?) stunningly attractive - you always had the cutest dress sense anyways and you look so well and healthy and happier now. And I love the Christmas wrap scene, makes everything all come together. My fave design is the gingie spice tote, and how it is now evolving, as you plan, into its own interactive world with its own reality.

product errors by the manufacturer most be the most annoying thing. I hate it when it happens especially if the company doesn't care if the job is done poorly
Definitely do not look like a potato! Manu's are so hit or miss I swear lol they are never consistent!

This makes me excited again for my own business. My business partner is my mum and we were working on the candles (cos it’s gonna be a candle business) today and things are starting to look a little more real! Things were a bit stagnant before cos of life things but now it feels like we’re steadily starting to look at fully opening the business. Still got a little of things to do before that tho 😅
Thank you for showing us what owning a business is really like! We don't always have things prepared super early and we're not always organized. Usually my workspace is chaos, unlike the cute aesthetic studios you usually see online. But that's okay! Doesn't make our work any less valuable :)
Oooh, did someone say new tote bag? My daughters and I absolutely loved the kitty with bubble tea one we got recently. The print quality is great, the bag is really big, yet strong and, well, the artwork of course was perfection. I’m delighted that you’re bringing out the one with the thank you card Gingie and Spice scene! Such a shame about the cards, hope you got that sorted quick smart! I'm only 6 minutes in but I have to comment on how professional you are about finding out that the lamination was done on the wrong side of the cards. Idk but if it was me in your shoes I would've gotten so mad I would've started crying lol. But they did come out BEAUTIFUL though and I'm already in love with your wrapping paper too.

Really sorry you seem to have endless issues. Hopefully you get a company much like your DTF guy where things are all great and if anything happens it's quickly sorted.
Thank you for the company names, I only make things at home but looking at some point to branch out and do different items where it could be cheaper to get someone else to make certain things so I know to give printed a big miss

We had a Tim Hortons open up near my work wow talk about expensive...coffee is more expensive than Costa and unfortunately I have given them 4 chances to get the pumpkin spice latte right and only once was it ok...the others the coffee was burned and bitter so had to throw it....their apple fritter donut is gorgeous though it's all cinnamon....y
I had to ditch Costa too because their are using sugar free gingerbread Syrup and it tastes horrid compared to the normal one 🤣 so I have bought a proper coffee machine where it grinds the beans..or use pre -ground ones and a milk frother and I bought the proper gingerbread Syrup and a pumpkin spice one.
The only thing I get at Tim hortons coffee wise is the French vanilla latte it’s Devine, but they forgot to add the French vanilla once and their coffee itself is rank 😅😢
Hey Catherine! I make my Cards and sell them also. I was wondering..."When you put your "Brand Label" at the top around the card & envelope, Are these Labels " removable?.. meaning..they do pull away easy "without" tearing the card & envelope?.. Thanks!
Before you even mentioned your hair, I was thinking, "The hair is cute!" But I know how you feel, I don't really like my hair up either.
Have you tried writing on the cards with various different pens that Most people would use like a basic biro pen to see if people can still write on them...I have a feeling the writing may smudge and not fully dry.
I guess if it does not smudge you could still sell them as seconds....if it does smudge so no good as a card could you not cut the front and sell them as picture cards or something?

We’ve had it a few years now I think, but there’s not many down south.

I have no idea where to start the idea overwhelms me 😅 so far I have been uploading a online digital portfolio for card companies. Is it a smooth transition? So far I haven’t put my work out really other than Instagram and Facebook

Maybe gift the cards with orders that you receive as it’s always nice to get a little extra at no cost, then they can send to friends who may then be a new potential customer for you. As you have publicly said they are incorrect I don’t think you should morally charge full price, but your decision in the end ❤

Possibly use the Crickut to cut each card out and use them as art prints, or tags, or ? Decor for journals ie ephemera or shaped bookmarks?

I ordered some DTF prints from him; but quite odd mine were only by individual sheet…not in a roll format like you got…kinda disappointing…oh yeah; its been almost a week since I ordered them and no update on tracking….UUGH
Ohh this is very very unusual! He usually responds super fast, and gets them tracked, have you tried calling him? I wonder why it was supplied on sheets? 😮 xxx
I have a weightloss related question. How have you been clothing wise? Like did you get rid (or donate) most of your clothing to buy more or have you modified some to fit? After Christmas I get my surgery and am looking into what I am gonna do with my clothing that I know for certain wont fit me anymore.
10 years in after my bariatric i can tell you what i did hihi keep everything, wear them untill you fit they are not visually appealing anymore and think about belts, for winter tou can buy more fitted clothes to put inside the bigger ones and get really confy, and buy as little as you can until you stabilize your weight because what fits you perfectly this month may not fit you well at all the next. Save your biggest outfit as a reminder not to ever go back there too hihi I took a year and a half to get to a stable weight and ended up having a lot of baggy clothes cause I've bought too much too soon. Hope you have a fantastic journey, love 😁

Actually Matt inside is nice too. It’s easier to write on. Some greeting cards did design this way. But still…the consistency of this manufacturer is 💩 crap….
Im not sure if there's something similar in the UK but I use table riser's to help with back issues leaning over a table for hrs at a time. It could help adjust the height for you. Its a cheap fix as well!
