Ten years ago. Ten years ago, Inter played out the longest 96 minutes in its history. Ten years ago, Inter progressed to the Champions League Final and celebrated the sweetest defeat ever: Barcelona 1-0 Inter in the semi-final second leg after a 3-1 win at San Siro eight days earlier.
History made, or rather, legend. All the talk was about the “Remuntada” in Barcelona: “we can do it” was the blaugrana’s proclamation. Mourinho’s Inter were strong in the 3-1 first-leg win and they had to be even stronger at the Camp Nou, especially after Pandev’s last minute injury with Chivu being called up at the last minute. It was a tough, gritty match in which the Nerazzurri displayed nerves of steel.

Doing the first Treble in Spanish football with load of funds & being native to Spain is a lot easier than winning the Treble in a foreign country & culture for Mourinho with little funds.

As a Chelsea fan I can claim that he has done some remarkable things for us, first title for 50 long years and some absolutely excellent signings too, he just attracts the highest quality players and they all want to play for him because he will use the best tactics and bring the best out of an individual with perfect timing. I mean why put a top goal scorer on the bench, if it's Mourinho u will see that good talent is never wasted and Mourinho would actually bring that goal scorer on when the team needed a vital goal and that as well as his highly attacking tactics is what makes him the best ever manager of all time for me, and for Chelsea, may Chelsea be successful for the next 100 years and Mourinho is welcome there ANYTIME, LEGEND + THE GREATEST + THE SPECIAL ONE :)

in this video u can clearly see how bias the referee was, some Barca tackles were clearly yellow card ones but he just didn't give it out but was quick to show red card & several yellow cards to the inter players.....but these players fought their heart & soul out to qualify for the finals....if not they would've surely lost it..... some of Barcas champs league success are very questionable, yes full of robbery & If VAR existed at that time, they wouldn't have had the 5champs league trophies they boast of.... If Ancelotti will win this CL however it will be almost impossible not to consider him the most successful manager of all times, with 4 CL won with 2 different teams.

Valdez, played for Barcelona and saw no need to the provocation from mourinho . The only coach in the world that has taken credit for when his team was winning, but blame on the players when not. His winning ways come from being assigned to coach well stoked Teams with the best that Money can Buy; yet he failed to deliver results several times, like on Madrid , Chelsea and Tottenham on domestic and UCL. He needed to Repeat at Chelsea with at least 3 Championships at the premier league and the same with Champions League, He Had the money and the players, but his tactics where not all that brilliant but the talent and sheer will of his players.....

It's interesting to me how people are quick to say "biased refs" without understanding why that was the case. There was no excuse vs Chelsea, of course, bu vs inter and Madrid? Mourinho's teams were aggressive and violent. It made it easy for Barca players to sell yellow and red cards. I know I would have taken advantage of that for sure.
