    This should be a series! You could even have professional brewers react to your stouts and give you pointers for the next episode

    No fermentation,so basically alcohol free Bovril

    Fair play to this guy making a living out of this when he's got basically zero knowledge of beer.

    Love how you had like three drinks from it. I was sure you would of gone nah this isn’t right but no you just had at it. Then scored it. 😂
    Amazing. Proper instructions are under the label dude. I had a few attempts at brewing but never had much luck. I did make a cider from apple juice once that was mental strong. We called it gutrott 🙃
    Keep up the good work!

    I enjoyed this more than I should have done, sorry to laugh at your misfortune. I really enjoy your normal content but I think it's time you redeemed yourself on this one. Do a bit of research, buy the right equipment and try again with this. 2 weeks fermenting (probably less in this heat) 3 months or so maturing, it'll be ready by December. You could get a couple of videos out of it brewing and tasting. I'll be happy to help if you've any questions
    Keep the other videos coming. Good luck to you

    Lmao! You did absolutely nothing right. Maybe try brewing an Irish Red next time and leave the stout brewing up to Guinness. The next time I'm in Ireland, I can show you how to brew. Love the content, and you were the inspiration for me to visit Dublin last year.

    no beer is ready to drink within a day. It's gotta ferment and either kegged or botttled. Minimum of like 2 weeks time lol. Wtf kind of kit is this.

    • @daraghcurran
      @daraghcurran  4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      It shouldn't be called a 'kit' if it doesn't have any of the shit you need to make it!

    Research?
    Bollocks!
    You might have found instructions on the back of the label, though.
    But then you'd have had to take it off of the tin.
    I will say this, though, ever since I've been binge-watching your reviews, I've developed a thirst for the black stuff that I can't ignore, which is saying something as I did all of mine back in the eighties - Beamish and Murphy's included.
    If I fancied something drier and a bit more 'biscuity', I'd seek out some Murphy's, if I wanted something that didn't need a knife and fork to get it down, Beamish was it.
    All of this was in London and all three were easily available, close to where I worked.
