It was like me walking in there. Thanks man for uploading this video. It took away the sadness of not being able to be there!

I once visited this place it is shocking how similar this city and izmir are with each other. I felt like home like i was in izmir my hometown. They are identical even if ı didnt read the caption ı would think that this is alsancak/izmir.
Μια πολύ ωραία πόλη που καταστράφηκε (σχεδόν) από τους Νεοέλληνες κατοίκους της. Πολύ τσιμέντο (αντιπαροχή γαρ) πολύ λίγα παραδοσιακά σπίτια, πάρα πολύ λίγοι χώροι πράσινου, μουσεία έχει αλλά όχι αρκετά για το μέγεθος της πόλης της. Την ωραία τοποθεσία δεν μπορεί να της την πάρει κανείς εκτός και αν μπαζώσουν τη θάλασσα, το οποίο δεν μπορούμε να το αποκλείσουμε με το μυαλό των Νεοελλήνων.
Έχεις δει τη Θεσσαλονίκη το βράδυ με καραβάκι όνειρο ειναι. Έχουμε ιστορικά μνημεία εσεις απο που ειστε πάντως απο Θεσσαλονίκη δεν το φανταζόμαι Σιγουρα απο αλλού Ε αφού δεν σας αρέσει άντε στην δική σας Πόλη.
" λίγο κρασί λίγο θάλασσα και.... Την πόλη μου." κάποτε έλεγα χαριτολογωντας σε παρέα, όταν τα απογευματινά κουλούρια θεσνικης πουλιόταν 1 δραχμή το ένα, εμείς τα τρώγαμε 1 δραχμή τα δύο. Και ρώτησε κάποιος... Το δεύτερο το κλέβατε ? Όχι βλακα , ερχόταν στο δεύτερο διάλειμμα στο σχολείο μας(νυχτερινό) για τα ξεπουλήσει και εμείς απλά στραγγαλιζαμε την πείνα μας για κάτι παραπάνω. Οδός σχολειων, 2ον λυκειον νυχτερινό, πείνα αλλά και θέληση για κάτι καλύτερο στην ζωή. Πέτρινα χρόνια...
How would I be percived by the native Greeks, If I decide to study and live in Thessaloniki? I've visited the city and people in general were extremly nice. However, I have heard other people's expierences claming that if you are from other nationality (especially Macedonian), you will be descriminated by the locals and by the goverment aswell. I'm looking forward for replies from the Greeks. (Hopefully, wont get any hateful comments since thats not why I wrote this comment).
I don´t believe you would have a problem, there are a lot of north macedonians who are living in Greece, maybe you should first visit Greece for holidays so you can decide for yourself and be sure, either way i wish you the best for your fututre
You hear too much propaganda from your government and nationalist sources... You will have no problem living in Thessaloniki at all, unless you make one yourself.
Ιn Thessaloniki and Athens from 24th Oct. people should be in masks on the streets also😷😷😷, not only in shops. And after 00:30 nobody should be outside without serious reason. Covid-19 level is growing in Greece 😨

@@katharinawinkelm727 Yes, but your opinion about it is mistaken. After summer time numbers of corona infected growing and growing in Greece as in other South European countries cuz of tourism. I live in Greece and I know what I'm talking about. And children here and teachers are in masks the whole day in schools, kindergartens and Unies. In our tourist area at the sea we needed to wear masks outside (not only in shops, in the streets too) already since the beginning of September 😷😷😷 So it's for you to be informed that corona is not only in Germany but all other countries, even that ones you would like to travel to as Greece has same problems too. And this video in Thessaloniki probably was made earlier until authorities made these new rules.

Γενικά ωραία πολύ μεν, αλλά δεν έχει τίποτα. Αδιάφορη για έναν επισκέπτη
