There is something inherently nostalgic in the recording itself, like past memories even if we didn't have them. So, having them makes it all more intense!
Ambient in the true sense of the word! :) And yes, I agree that not many would have thought of this. Since it can be powered by a power bank, it is really worthwhile to "let it go" in the wild!
It definitely belongs in the wild! I am still planning on getting something like a 1010Music Lemondrop, that would pair perfectly with the Wingie, but my budget has been cut by the recent entrance in the modular world 😁 But it will happen, sooner or later. Thank you so much again!🧡
Ahah I guess care went already out of the window 😄 But I’m trying to limit myself -mostly- to Instruo modules, and tomorrow I am receiving the oscilloscope, so more educational videos coming soon 🥰
I admit I haven't thought about it, that's an interesting question and I will try again, maybe playing over it a bit to determine where I fall 😁 In any case, thank you a lot, and yes, I really wanted that unresolved feeling that keeps you "craving for more" ☺
I left for a short trip from home and I'm without a laptop. Of course I have my Wingie with me. Yesterday evening my main concern was which firmware tò travel with, whether the Blippoo or the original one... I choose the Blippoo... But either way you can't go wrong with this little magical instrument ❤️
Couldn't agree more! My second unit is coming soon, exactly because I didn't want to decide between the two firmware (and I wanted to try them together!). Can't wait to go explore more surroundings with this little beauty 🧡
Thank you a lot! I am still thinking about how I could make a second version of this, "more" in every aspect. We'll see :) As for the reverb, I added a touch of Valhalla Supermassive. For stuff like this, I like the flexibility of not baking the reverb directly into the recording.
@@Dexba Valhalla is amazing for that final touch. I prefer hardware that provide control for creative results, if not, software is great for "set and forget" settings. We want a second release of this Unattended Under The Rain!! 🤍
So lovely!! The background noise and the moment when you can hear some people talking is so good!!
Oh yeah! I should have taken the hour-long recording and put together some snippets of the people talking, those were definitely the highlights!
What a genius instrument and application of it.
A genius instrument indeed! And for the application, you're too kind: thank you so much 🧡
The sounds that came out are truly magnificent!
I have to agree completely, and without sounding cocky: I am only marginally responsible for this one 😁
GENIUS
You're too kind, thank you so much 🧡
Dense colors, aurally and visually.
Humbled 🧡
Lush and lovely, and your scenes bring me back to my time in HCMC. Thank you!!✨

I agree!!🔥
This is so cool. Really enjoying your Wingie and Wing Pinger videos.
Thank you a lot! ☺
Can't wait to have more time to put out some more Wing Pinger content: an extensive demo/review is very much needed
I would very much appreciate such a video, bc there’s very little info on how it works. Even Hainbach’s video was kind of fuzzy on the details.
brilliant..............................
As soon as I found out the Wingie had mics, this was my only focus 🧡
I suspect that not many people would have thought of this.....
Absolutely superb 😃👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much! 🧡
That was absolutely delightful
I spent a lot more time than the duration of this video just in awe, "spying" on the street sounds through my headphones
This is seriously impressive, mate!!!
Thank you so much! 🧡
I didn't know I was missing a microphone so much in my fiddling around 😁

@@Dexba You welcome :) The modular world can suck you in like a black hole... approach with care!

@@Dexba 😇The oscilloscope in my opinion is an excellent approach! Let us know :)
The question is, do you hear this as IV (lydian Maj 7), or as I (Ionian Maj 7)? Amazing how it stays interesting without any harmonic movement

@@Dexba I think you achieved that. Sounds somewhere between John Cage and Brian Eno?
@@makeperceive humbled 🧡 Thank you so much again!
Loved the idea and the result ;)
Thank you a lot, even though we should probably thank more the street in this case ;)

Really captivating! What kind of reverb you applied?
Beautiful idea!

Amazing, do you do any gigs in Saigon?
I used to!
I hope to come back soon, bringing my new stuff with me 🧡
