- After seeing Clifford The Big Red Dog's 2021 Live Action Trailer, I decided to upload the 1988 animated intro sequence made by Canadian Animation Company Nelvana. This intro is from Clifford's Fun with Letters, Numbers, Opposites, Shapes, Sounds and Rhymes, which I grew up with during my childhood

I didn’t even know this one existed. I grew up watching the one in the 2000s.
So did I just now.
Me Neither. Until just recently, last year, I just that the 2021 movie’s sequel will have this song in it as a movie ending/victory song, with a few slight changes.

After these, Olivia Holt can be a main actor on Kickin It seasons 1 through 5 and then Olivia Holt wants to tell Leo Howard to marry her and have kids who will be born in 2023 during their high school graduation in 2016 and then you altered time back in 1986 so that John Williams III wants to tell Joey Calavan to marry him for a wedding and have kids who will be born in 1993 during their high school graduation in 1986. After, you altered time back in 2001 so the US Government can create a distraction by calling the Airport Security to prevent Osama Bin Laden, the airplane hijackers and the 9/11 terrorists before they were about to hijack airplanes and destroyed the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, The Pentagon in Washington DC and Stonycreek Township in Somerset County at Pennsylvania. My library used to have this on VHS. I actually saw this just before the PBS version premiered.
This series was my favorite of all. I just wish it weren't only six episodes, it was so great!

Brings back great memories! My mom rented the VHS's for me when I was little back in the early 90's. I'm 37 now & this is still one of the best animated intro themes to this very day!
We watched these when I was in elementary school and I LOVED them. I was so excited when the 2000s show came out but missed this theme song a lot 😅

It was a video series I remember watching the videos at my neighbours house. She had lots of videos and the Clifford ones were a favourite with the kids that she babysat.
I used to watch this back in the 1st grade i 5 at the time when i seen it every morning in elementary school we used watch it after we have morning free time MAN im getting old 😂

Definitely a fun theme song! It looks like Glen Kennedy may have been an animator on this intro at some shots; the animation was done at Wang Film Productions in Taiwan, where Glen Kennedy was working at the time (supervising the animation on "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo", among other things). Clifford and Emily Elizabeth's reaction animation at 0:46 looks pretty Kennedy-esque.

In case you're wondering, Bill Melendez, well-known for his work with Peanuts, was at the helm of production with this series along with Lee Mendelson. I thought this series was a fever dream, especially since I was born well after this series of videos was released, but even with only 6 episodes, I thought this series was great! Definitely brings back childhood memories for sure!

Funny how both Clifford and Bearsten Bears had a series in the 80s before there more well known series in the 2000s .
Well, the 80s Berenstain Bears series was broadcast on television during its time, and reruns were broadcast in syndication in the early 2000s at the same time as the newer series.
This Clifford series, on the other hand, was only available on home video and was never broadcast on television.
Yeh, remakes were always a cash grab.
That’s also the case with Curious George. Also funny how they’re all on PBS Kids when they were at its prime.
