    What’s the deal with all the oversized tongues on these models? I’ve looked for a fair amount of Pokémon stl files and for whatever reason a lot of them have solid sculpts on the body but then the faces are almost always off in some way. If not a weird treatment of the mouth, then the faces tend to be oddly flat. I’m a big fan that cubone model. I wish there was a live link for it

      Hi Alejandro
      Here (themachinebros.com/3d-print-pokemon-compilation/) you can find all the 3D printing setting for the Pokémon. But, we are a little bit lost with the time frame, what you mean is the timing of how the time-lapse is done?

    • @TheMachineBros
      @TheMachineBros  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Luciano
      It's transparent coating which smooths the surface of the model, this is the one we use amzn.to/3AsY7kw
      You can find here themachinebros.com/beginners-guide-paint-your-3d-printing/ other tips about 3d printing post-processing

    whats the screwdriver like thing used for smoothing? something like a dremel? product link? Thank you!

    • @TheMachineBros
      @TheMachineBros  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Jose! Indeed is a Dremel, here's the link of the one we use: amzn.to/323UQNs

    • @danielhall3386
      @danielhall3386 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheMachineBros Hey, what's the specific tip that you use, as well as the speed of the dremel?
      Everything I search about using a dremel for smoothing, it's not recommended because of the heat can cause the filament to melt, messing with the print.
      Edit: Also, this is fantastic and thanks for sharing. I found this video originally on Thingiverse and really enjoyed watching these be put together and painted. My kids are looking forward to me printing these now :)

    Can you provide a link to the Cubone 3d model? Its the only model that is missing a URL. 😭

    • @TheMachineBros
      @TheMachineBros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Alexy!
      The original model seems that was taken down, that's why we also removed the link. Nevertheless, we found a very similar model: www.myminifactory.com/prints/3d-print-cubone-pokemon-28702

    How much is cost to print them?

    • @TheMachineBros
      @TheMachineBros  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Refugio!
      It depends on the filament you use and the amount of infill. In our case, we use approximately 670g of filament in total for all the 7 Pokémon. So, using for example a PLA hatchbox, which costs approximately $25 per 1Kg, we would end up spending almost $17 to print them all. In this example we do not take into account the costs of electricity or operation of the 3D printer, nor do we take into account paint and extras. But in summary, in material, approximately $17 is spent.

    • @refugioflores2226
      @refugioflores2226 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheMachineBros the k you it’s not much but yea you’re right there are other factors to consider does the printer used much electricity. I’m just wondering I would like to make some figures but idk if I should buy the printer and do it by myself or I just order from a print service only if is available
