This is sooo depressing to me. Like do you ever imagine if Muhammad Ali was as healthy as George Foreman and Mike Tyson? How life works is crazy. I literally was almost in tears because he was such an amazing boxer, person, brother, father, and husband, and had to live the rest of his life suffering from Parkinson's. The fact that he died of respiratory failure, wasn't good news. However, when they said all his organs failed, but his heart kept beating for 30 min, I knew he had lived a great life and fought all the way to the very end to the light at the end of the tunnel. - R.I.P. Muhammad Ali (1942-2016) You'll be missed

I met Muhammad Ali at an autograph signing years ago. I asked if I could take a picture with him, His managers said, NO! Ali said, Yes, and motioned for me to come up on stage and sit at the table next to him.
He is my hero in this life for so many reasons. I am so blessed to have met him. I even kissed him on his cheek. The softest cheek that ever lived.

He sees through the charade of the Vietnam war and refuses to be the aggressor. Does so much for charity, peace and reconciliation - coming from a mighty killing machine BOXER.
If you don't see the hand of God and the proof of the Almighty please see again. The Lord of Abraham and Moses and Jesus and Muhammad is ONE (peace be upon all his noble messengers). We as Muslims and believers don't worship anything created - only the creator.
Ali sure made mistakes in his early days of Islam, but then he was in wrong understanding. He later realised his mistake and got the reality - in fact it is all in God's plan to get the grain sorted from the chaff - and Muhammad Ali was a vehicle to show the world the true power of spiritualism.
One Ali's life is enough to dispel all the hate the media spreads about Islam.

Since his death, to my surprise, I found three others whose life he touched. (He was my hero). A friend spent time talking with him on a layover in an airport. He was in a diner and decided to walk a little girl to her car so she'd be safe. Another friend grew up with him coming over and watching boxing with her dad. He'd give her 25 cents to massage his back (before he was famous). He was personally available and each one knew they were in the presence of someone special. He lived with honor and integrity . Thanks, Ali, you're still the greatest.

Ali never asked for, nor wanted, anyone's pity. Whenever I see a video of him in his later years on youtube, there's tons of comments pitying him and his deteriorating physical state. But I think that people just have a hard time seeing past the uncontrollable shaking and the trembling and the damaged speech. When I look at this man, I still see a steel, astute mind inside that broken body. He always continued to be the same warrior he was in that ring. It never ended just because his body shut down. Don't pity Ali but remember his as a titanic figure who truly got the all respect that he deserved. You are so greatly missed in this world, Ali. RIP champ. The Greatest of them all.
