With Karen Ibasco's Miss Earth 2017 crown, the Philippines have 14 major crowns, tying the USA for second most behind Venezuela who have 22.
The Philippines also have the longest Big Four title winning streak at five straight years.
2018 will be a challenge to add more Big Four titles to their cabinet.

Sond Nyon, even if we enumerate countless of Filipino accomplishments all over the world, it wouldn't interest you anyways, so why bother? We have a lot of overseas contract workers abroad who have contributed so much to our economy. It is a sad fact though, that some, but not all, of our politicians do not have the heart to serve and give our country the honor and pride it deserves. Which is why we uphold, if not boast, most Filipinos who gave, and still does, honor to the Philippines. Our country may not be the best in the World, but I can say we have the finest Filipinos who deserve the accolades no foreign countries can ever understand.

When there was Mutya ng Pilipinas where Ms World candidate was chosen, there was also Ms. Asia Pacific Quest, at that time, there still were no Ms Suprational, Ms. Grand International etc...I think we have two crowns for Ms Asia Pacific Quest the another 3 crowns when it was restored as Ma Asia Pacific Internation which also has been a prestigious international beauty pageant for years...one of whom also won Mrs. World...I'm sad that they were not given such accolades received by our major global winners...

Why is Noela "Ella" Evangelista not include?. She won the Queen of Tourism International in 2003 held in Cancun, Mexico. She was 2nd runner-up at the Binibining Pilipinas during the time of Carla Balingit and Mafae Yunon.

Filipinos and Indonesians have the same facial expression, come from the same continent, namely ASEAN, as well as other countries such as Malaysia and Singapore
If we are going to compare Philippines and Venezuela, yes the latter does win lots of Miss Universe repeatedly but what we Filipinos try to point out is that we have won all the pageants- both minor and major. but Venezuela has not done that record yet.
