@R2 D2 Totally agree. The OEM system isn't bad at all for a stocker but that Scorpion really makes the n55 'snarl.' This is the type of exhaust that could make me smile from ear to ear everytime I drive it. No droning/ rasp is A MUST when it comes to an aftermarket system. I'm assuming companies like AA Tuning, Bimmerworld, Rogue Engineering, Remus, etc all fabricate they're own systems and probably all sound excellent. I've never looked into it as I don't own an n54 or n55 equipped car. It's such a good sounding motor from the start, that it's probably difficult to make it sound poorly. The Scorpion really sounds, looks, and fits nicely from what I can see. One of the other great things about the downpipe in particular is how well you can hear the spooling. Turbo(s) actually help dampen the exhaust note in general, but the sound when its in boost is intoxicating. These are the type of reasons why we love these cars so much, besides the amazing handling characteristics. Domestic owners don't know what they're missing. I was a diehard VW/ Audi guy with some highly modified/ swapped cars that I built for myself and customers. Once I drove my first bimmer over 20 years ago I was hooked. Nothing compares to the handling with RWD/LSD, and the extremely linear power delivery that I have found. BMW is one of the few manufacturers who still build a car that not only looks the part, but more importantly performs and handles as good or better than how it looks. Not anywhere near as 'watered-down,' or poorly engineered like so many newer platforms. Great video. Wish we got half the cool stuff here in the states that you guys over there are lucky enough to be able to get. Keep it real. 😎
NV Motorsport UK Have you Done the 100-200 with the stage 2 yet? and what is the times? If i change to an Wagner intercooler and and a Wagner downpipe with a 200 cel racecat and a drop in sport air filter with a stage 2 tune how much power would you think i Will make?
That`s right, but i never saw a N-Motor which is strong enough for >600hp 100000 miles. And i think the S55 (for example m4) sound can also be great, the reason of the bad m2 competition sound in europe is that there is a "pre-catalyzer" too. Not only the new otto particle filter shit....
The Stage 2 is now complete. Can't wait for Stage 3 Hybrid turbo testing!
NV Motorsport UK what is the background music? Great Video!

Mabz! My M2 (N55) wheel hops like crazy in the rain or cold in 1st and 2nd (WOT).. Do you have a fix for this ? Dual mount diff plate maybe ??
Is it 6MT?
No DCT
Have you tested 100-200 times?
Many times. 8.4s without meth. 8.2 with meth
What 100-160 & 100-200 times does this do? I’m OTS map and 9.2-9.5 sec 100-200
we did 9.4 100-200 stage 1. Stage 2 tesing will be done soon

Please build something for the s55 M-Motor from the M2 Competition which sounds good and is street legal in europe
in development :)
It wont sound as good, the S55 engine always sounds shit, no matter what set up you use. Maybe make it better, but wont ever sound like the N55.
