Former rescue diver: great skills to have. Later on, became a RN in ICU. Get all the skills you can. Get in a lot of recreational dives as well. WE did Rescue dives, search and recovery, dove the ocean in Maine, Hawaii, Florida, California, New York, dove in Rivers, Lakes, ponds, Night dives, Ice dives and so on. Get a lot of recreational dives in so you are as comfortable underwater as you are on land.. and listen to your instructors...

Yes it is a lot more easy in the Pool than in 2 meter waves. Great Job that you passed
Good to practice first in the pool do and then practice more in different conditions

    very good

The video is good but it is taking 10 seconds between each insufflation. It would be good to watch the video again with this corrected.

uhm I am counting 4 to 6 seconds and 5 average... Maybe when you count 1, 1, thousand
      2, 1 thousand
      Instead of just: 1, 2, 3 etc.?
But then again we did updated the video here: th-cam.com/video/ioBrVEwOTUE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-8rbIoRXGATDSViE

Sequence looks good. Certainly very easy - maybe too easy - in the pool. :)
And if the diver is unresponsive because of a neck injury? You probably just made it worse and paralyzed this person for life. Support the neck, keep the head straight while opening the airway. A small kick will get you high enough to administer a breath. If you have a pocket mask it's even easier.

A few years ago a PADI staff member updated us and said that if performed correctly you don't have to count to make it more realistic, it worked really well and made the practice so much more realistic. I prefer both way's tbh :)
Please read the video description for a better explanation of this matter.
      Have a great dat Elmo!

We practice both. First in the pool and then in Open Water. We don't always have strong currents here.
