This video was a great money saver!. I used the FYT grips for my Vlad Blad Ultron but wasn’t aware they also fit the bishop wands! Including shipping I’m paying 6 New Zealand dollars for each wand grip and only under 2 NZD for the FYTs as there is a much closer supplier as well. Thanks bro!
While dragonhawksupplies now has proper (but crazy expensive) steralized disposable grips, it would be super interesting if you would do a review of the FYT grips to see if they fit more budget pen style machines. (Like dragonhawk)

Well, I have two metal grips and while I use one the other is in cavicide and when I finish tattooing I remove it, clean the machine with a piece of paper with a little cavicide and put the other “clean” grip on it and leave the one I use in cavicide .. this is how the vast majority do with pen-type tattoo machines, but that disposable alternative is also super good🙏🏼
The bishop wand disposable grips fit loose on my bishop packer . I was tattooing a client when the while grip& cartridge moved once I try to put the needle in the skin
Man I wish I had someone who could show me what I need for my first machine… i have the dragon hawk mast, I do believe is what it’s called. I want grips but not sure how the heck to put them on so on so forth…
Ok so I know this has nothing to do with this video but I need help. So I was thinking about switching and or trying t-tech cartridges. I saw your video from a year ago or so about cartridges you use. I know you use t-tech first gen the white ones. So I was gonna try them out due to the price is a little cheaper than what I use. The problem I've found with them is, I heard the don't have a safety membrane. Is this true? If so have you ever had problems with them allowing ink back up in your machine/pen? Honestly anything you can tell me about them before/if I order I'd much appreciate it. If you could suggest any other brand to check out would be awesome too! Thank you so much and much much respect.
ey mate! try out the new cheyenne union machine, pen machine with adjustable stroke. I'm getting it for sure, i just cant.... figoure out 100% if it should at this point just get the Valhalla, or the new cheyenne pen with adjustable stroke, cheyenne are awesome builders, but costs ALOT more. Did you ever have any issues with your axys to this day? and could you do like 18RL without problem?
If you want adjustable the vlad blad avenger 2 pro is my favorite machine at the moment. It’s a beast. And I never used an 18liner with the valhala. Used a 14 and it worked pretty well

Needle sticking out super far for me. Much much more than in the video, when I screw it on more than one or two turns. Maybe they changed something lately? Doesn't work for me like this unfortunately :(

I use FYT cartridges. They're who I've settled on. They're just comfortable and consistent. And they're also CHEAP.

Side note, with longer bugpin tapers these are very hard to get the needle in far enough to tattoo comfortably. BUT they do make longer grips as well.
I just ordered some grips for a drive bar and needle cartridges lol I wana just go back to traditional needles I think

if it fits a hawkpen, that means they should, in theory, also fit vlad blad's ultron pens
now, fyt sell disposable grip in medium size which are perfectly compatible with bishop wand. the box is not the same color.

Unfortunately it did not work for my 4.2 stroke wand, the entire grip wiggles too much... :/

It could be the cartridge you are using? FYT did just come out with a new for bishop only grip actually

The bishop grips are medical grad silicone (rubber) and PVC on inside

They are suppose to be disposable. I wouldn’t. If you are going to autoclave something just autoclave the metal grip it comes with
