I see Little Mermaid crossed a bit with Pinocchio.
The stars being anchovies reminded me of The Lion King (“they’re fireflies that got stuck in that big bluish black thing”)

I was quoting and singing The Little Mermaid throughout the movie.
So, why don't Alberto's feet become fish feet when he's running through water puddles barefoot?
Maybe the threshold for transformation is higher in the feet compared to the upper part of the body, that is a greater amount and prolonged exposure of water is required to convert the lower part of the body (feet) compared to the upper part of the body (head and hands). Just a theory.

Seeing an Italian animated movie is amazing
I watched Luca on Disney + on Friday the visuals were so breathtaking and I really wanted pasta afterwards
This is probably the best animated movie of 2021

Normally when it comes to Disney film’s Easter eggs, I usually have an eagle eye out for them. But in the case with Luca, most of them flew over my head (except for the Finding Nemo post credits reference at the end).
Pixar has finally asked itself:“What if Italians had feelings ?”
They should ask: "What if animated characters had feeling". If you know what i mean.

When I first watched it, I straightaway found A113 and 1200 Park Avenue, both in the same scene.

8:02-9:05 Actually there's a third easter egg too. The number of the train carriage that Giulia and Luca aboard is Pixar's address back in California.
Also, Giulia's design is kinda like Ivy Sundew from this little Disney show called Amphibia. And her shirt has the same colors as Phineas' from P&F.

I actually watched The Blue Umbrella on cinemas. MU was actually my second time watching a Pixar film in theaters.
Using Marcello Mastroianni photo (from his Fellini days) and the comedy Big Deal on Madonna Street were pure genius. Mastroianni with moustache being the epitomy of cool, as he's got it glued onto the Vespa mirror
