Love the color and the choices you've made (my only concern is wishing you'd have painted it rather than wrapping it-- but that's a personal choice and I'm probably in the minority). This build is amazing and you deserve all the love you're getting for saving this junkyard NSX. The NSX is an automotive icon and I'm so happy you were able to bring it back from the grave.
I also would had preferred to have painted it. There is nothing like a nicely waxed car.
He should have painted it. It's an NSX, not any random car. He has the money for paint and it should have been done the right way
I think there are parts he wants and can’t get a hold of so he’s wrapping it temporarily until he can get the parts he wants for a full paint job

@@darrinmyagi2439 I can understand that. But $1,600 for the wrap is still a lot of money to blow on a temporary solution. But I understand that when your a TH-camr time is money. For everyone else the project would have had to sit until everything could be done the way we wanted.

Nothing hits like the rx7. The Rx7 was honestly the best car series build in the channel. Mickey did a 👌🏻 job on it

The whole build seems rushed. Even with the wrap on it feels incomplete.
Realistically regular people like us won’t get opportunities to buy a 30,000 dollar NSX. So you say this is how you can achieve your goals. But we won’t get opportunities to buy cars like this before big TH-camrs on cars once in a lifetime deal. You 100% worked for your following and built it which is respectable but at the end of the video you made it sound easy and made it sound like all 2 million of your subscribers can achieve this, which truly isn’t the case. Simply put we just won’t find crazy deals like this to get these cars and on top of that we don’t have a team of 4-5 workers to help build our cars in a months time. But you make it sound like it’s easy when it really isn’t

This is one of those cars you are honestly better off wrapping. If you ever want to change the color it’s easy, especially when you aren’t 100% sure what color you want to go with in the first place. Love these abandoned rebuilds!

who are you kidding, this is not a restoration, its just a get it back on the road and make it look pretty, car flip and let next own deal with the real issues and safty concerns.

Just clean wrap and make look nice. No engine re build. Nice to have sponsors hey? These guys need to watch MCM. To get a better idea of a better rebuild. Not sure what happens to bodywork and rust under a wrap and if the car will actually detearriate. But otherwise still half arsed.

Looks great! I’m curious what the labor hours are that went into rebuilding, because the work isn’t free even if doing it yourself. That can certainly add up, plus is not usually something you include in your project cost. Labor hour estimates would be great for anybody interested in a rebuild or restore of their own vehicles at home. Great to see you still following your dreams and making them reality.
Tj NSX turned out sick you guys crushed it now it definitely just needs a supercharger for that sick sounding engine 👍
@TJ, heads up NA1 and NA2 doesn't mean pop-ups versus fixed headlights as NA2 started in 1997 and still had the pop-ups. NA1 is 3.0L and NA2 is 3.2L so different than the S2K nomenclature. For some of the missing plugs it looks like you don't have the windshield washer reservoir so one of those plugs is that. There is an AC condenser down there too in front of the wheel with a 2 pin plug. The remaining spare connection down there is for the fender side lights that were deleted in your previous videos. :)
For the levrack doors put large vynl signs on the doors when closed so when you open them the sign splits into 2 half’s but when you close the door is a complete logo of the brand
I like how the rx-7 was also green before Tj did all the stuff to it. Seems like these 2 cars were destined to be twins.
the NSX looks beautiful man, the only suggestion imo is to swap out the mirrors u have on there for some EVS Tuning Carbon mirrors; they would look fire. looking forward to more NSX content!

The NSX turned out very nice. Props to TJ and his team! However, I’ll give 10 to 1 odds that TJ is going to flip this car for a profit and not keep it. When TJ said he was going to keep the R34, he built that car to perfection! This NSX build was VERY different… basically a “let’s get it running and looking decent with as little money as possible”. Respect for the work performed, but this will either be part of a giveaway, a trade, or for sale soon.

All TJ needs now is an Evo 8 or 9 and he will have all what I considered to be the greats. RX7, Supra, R34 GTR, now the NSX.
Okay first of all the FD was my favorite then the R34 stole my heart, but I just have to say the NSX is by far my favorite revamp/rebuild and it really is amazing!!! Awesome work!!! Y’all are killing it!!!

THIS nsx build is my favorite it just how i would do it same wheels ither those or the spoon but the carbon wing defuser and lip bucket seats i love 90s jdm thats what i grew up with i had crx and a delso in high school and after now in my late 30s i have a camry lol
Yo teej, i would suggest installing metal bollards either outside in front of your roller doors or behind it for added security. Nice work on the car, looks great.
NSX was my first dream car. I still remember the license plate of the first one I saw "YINVST". I took it as Y I Nvest (Invest) but it also could be Y Invest. Either way, I loved it and loved the vibe of the plate too.

Championship white was made for the NSX....nothing looks better then an NSX in Championship white with red guts!! Good call on the color!
Fun to watch! But, anyone else thinks he should include the cost of labor in the totals? How many labor hours went into this project? Some of those hours are highly paid rates per hour to his employees and contractors. Also, there are other costs, like all the infrastructure, utilities, and equipment he has in his shop to do this type of work.

You're supposed to dedicate 1 shelf maybe 2 for cleaning supplies, A couple bottles of each along with rags, cleaning tools, etc. Then keep the rest of the stock in the above compartment. Not stock a ton of one product taking up all the space of multiple Lev Rack sections entirely. I get when its free you guys use it like its going out of style might as well have a Mcguire Tank with a hose at this point, so you feel like you need 100 bottles on every shelf. Lev Racks done enough they shouldn't have to send a rep over to show you how to stock and organize the shelving systems they sent.
