- Laura and I visit Hunua, and she swears that if I keep scrambling in the bush I'm going to get us lost. Me? Lost?! Pssht never! Well there was that onetime in New York- oh and the Mexican border, but still I'm alive right?

Just happened across your Hunua Falls movie. Good thing you elected not to jump, the Wairoa river was an old logging river & the falls are deeper then the average bear. Many logs still buried at the bottom. There have been about 23 fatalities if I recall correctly. Remember : watch out for the dead twigs. 😉

Its surreal, it feels like a dinosaur would pop out somewhere. No wonder they picked this place for Walking with Dinosaurs so many years ago.haha
Cool video! You get a lot of lookouts like that in New Zealand, overgrown by trees. There's a mountain near me called Kakepuku which is like that up the top. But I like trees so it's okay, hahaha.
I love trees but in general I think that they need to add a lookout closer to the top
