This is a gem of a movie, on the order of the classic Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and the Buddy character could be the equally endearing Pee-Wee Herman character's descendant. Done wrong,a movie like this could easily be an inane piece of junk fit only for idiots and infants, but this film was done right and it's a charming, sometimes poignant, often hilarious holiday fantasy sure to delight young and old -- and everyone between. I recommend it highly.
