Can i tell you a simple but interesting story that i learned when was around 12yrs old, I’m now 56, this sums police mentality. My neighbour was a policeman , he lived over the fence from us (I’m the youngest in my family), He had a son around the same age as me who was Physically and Mentally disabled, people used the word spastic all the time in those days, This lovely boy would scare everyone, simply and only because he would shout very loudly, and insist that everyone shake his hand. But he had an incredible strength and would squeeze to a point that everyone was scared of him. Judging him wrongly . I decided i wanted to I become friends with my neighbour for many reasons , but mainly because i could see that he NEVER meant any harm to anyone. It became apparent that i was the only persons name he would remember, shouting for me , then I’d come out and jump over the fence to talk and do whatever. Our village was having the annual village fair on a lovely summers day. My friends and i were happily running at the side of the fair that was being held on a local football ground. Suddenly I heard a man shout, YOU BOY,, when i turned round and realised it was Mr ******, my neighbour , who id known my whole life. He was walking with his sergeant in uniform. He began to click his fingers pretending to remember my name, he began to call me by my oldest brothers name , all the while i was saying ITS Me MR ******. I play with you son ******, He was only then interested in belittling me in front of this other person. I was so distraught , I couldn’t jump over the fence again. This man betrayed me as a neighbour and friend. He always knew my name of course , but i knew he used me that day, to make himself look good in front of this other Man. Sadly I didn’t play with his son ****** again because of this. I was the only kid who played with him, and calmed ****** and felt safe with him, MR ****** soon became a sergeant after this. Rus**L never had a friend again, instead playing with toys on his own in the garden. This is an honest and very true story, some things we cant forget

This used to be the National Sea Training School for lads training for careers in the British Merchant Navy. I was there in 1972 and it led to the best job I've ever had and years at sea travelling the world.

And this side of the EWS is a hydrant , plus lots of pallets for burning and smoking out the B/A Breath Apparatus containers . I would say as the paint on those containers is still nice and green and not burnt off , im assuming the area they burn those pallets might be on the other side . The sign on the gate plus the burnt out car gives away its a training area as well

4:10 looks like the green buildings are some sort of Breath apparatus training area , can see a EWS ( Emergency water supply ) left of the car . And this side of the EWS is a hydrant , plus lots of pallets for burning and smoking out the B/A Breath Apparatus containers . I would say as the paint on those containers is still nice and green and not burnt off , im assuming the area they burn those pallets might be on the other side . The sign on the gate plus the burnt out car gives away its a training area as well
