I'm only in my thirties but I got introduced to him a long time ago and ever since then I have listened to him there's ever one day I don't stop listening to him. I admire with Bobby are indeed for music in the 1950s and 60s. As for me I consider him top Entertainer for me cool swing cool cat also arrogant and cocky as well but the thing I liked about him was it he could back it up no matter what. Everybody Bobby darin fan just let you know you are miss everyday. Love Bobby bottom of my heart.

I fully agree, I thought the movie was very good, and was very impressed with Kevin's singing (and of course acting). It's hard to tell a true story with so much sadness in it, and I think they did an excellent job. I'd watch it again.
This song reminds me of my daddy who was from that great generation of people! He loved Bobby Darin,...he did,...he loved the "essence of that era" so much, it was before the rebellious stupid hippie movement, before the drug culture started up, back when America was SWEET!

I normally close out every season of American Idol by turning down The winner singing and turning this on and I think if Nigel Lythgoe could read this its just a little piece of advise, I think they should close out every season of Idol with this song .
There is footage on YT of Darin performing in his final year, 1973, and he is giving his all for the audience with a medley of his songs. I can easily picture him needing oxygen during his performances back stage.

I dont like the film much. I think its cheesy. But only the fact that spacey had the balls to do this against all expectations and standards makes it something special. To show his true feelings and colors and passions makes him so human. Its amazing. You do not find that very often nowadays where everything has to be clean and nice and handsome.
