She was asked at the time when she owned her own club outside of the United States if she will always be an actress. She said " yes acting is something that will always be a part of me I will never give up acting." It kinda makes me wonder if she really meant that or if she said that just to say it. Not only do they not always face criminal charges, but they will also keep on getting work and get paid millions. Then there’s the ones who will openly admit to taking drugs but managed to quit, which is great and all, but they just love broadcasting it on every platform and make themselves out to be these awe inspiring idols. Patting themselves on the back, announcing that if they can do it anyone can. I’m sure they’re trying to be inspirational, but it just comes across as patronising, given they can afford to put more money than most into rehabilitation. Other celebrities will sometimes chime in feeding their ego and treating them like hero’s. Let’s be honest, if this scenario involved any of us none celebrities, we would lose our jobs, get a criminal record, face charges and be looked down upon as just some lowlife junkie, and if they managed to get clean, they will still be judged with a tarnished reputation for many years.

She’s been sober for about 4 years now(I think. Roughly). She didn’t ruin her career either, she dropped out of her films before they started.
