Great work Rich. You definitely need more space hehehe. What I did to protect my 6S Rally was fit the XO-1 front splitter on there and rear diffuser. Hmmmmmmm did I just make a XO-1 1/10 scale.
Snapped the stock plastic driveshafts on my maxx on the first pack after switching to the wide maxx kit. Totally different rc, but you asked about anyone having problems with traxxas’ plastic driveshafts. I’ve since swapped them out with the 8950x kit and went back to the stock arms.
I've been running mine on that same power plant for almost a year now. And now I put a new 8s esc out of the new 8s Kraton so here's hoping to some new top speeds on it.

You driveshaft will break they already break on 3s on 6 hey might not break as often because of the car just drifting non stop but yout going to destroy more things

In your honest opinion do you think this RC is worth the high price tag for what you get out the box? No doubt it looks fantastic but its crazy expensive for you you get before upgrade imo.
Dont start to belive your driveshafts will survive on 6s on a 3s truck it will just not survive for long in the case of the rally car its acting like an infraction bassicly spinning the tires so fast that they dont grip almost at all and reduces the load on the driveshafts dont think they will last on 6s while they break on 3s wih the stock electronics on any traxxas 3s trucks the only exeption is the maxx 4s who can take it

Noted on the music I keep turning it down and down. Problem with playing it back on youtube is that a video that would take say 5-8 mins to upload is taking 45-50mins to upload due to the high internet usage. So I'm only wanting to do it the once, I play it back in imovie and turn the volume down but it seems like youtube amplifies the music, I'll crank the next one down more than I think I should hopefully that will help. Feedback much appreciate, sound gives me more problems than anything.

Those driveshafts already break on 3s they will last longer on the rally foesta because of the car design for example you can pull wheelies on that thing. What kills driveshafts is tire grip thats why on bashers with plastic shafts are the worst thing they cant take the load and they break in the U join the traxxas ones snaps the arrma ones pops out one or the other bpth driveshafts will need remplacement

1. I will never do a 6 conversion on a 3s truck because the car was never designed for 6s period. 2. Stop bringing arrma in the discussion i was talking about the 3s trucks not being able to hold on 3s and they wont stand a chance on 6s just because they survived for 10 minutes doesnt mean they will last on a rally fiesta an arrma team associated or traxxas made for 3s with plastic driveshaft will not last on 6s idk why i have to bring this to the discussion you want a 3s truck get a proper 6s truck who was made for that system. Sure you can make a 3s truck into a speed run car thats would be the only reason behind it

And if the car wast really lunching on 6s it would have already séf destroy into your wall
Shelter-in-place here in California, but I don't suppose that occured to you, nor that the local parks are all quite literally locked shut. I can make a lot better content but can I justify driving 12 miles to the coast to run it in a big lot? Is that classed as 'essential' if you think it is then you should watch more of the news, watch it until you don't feel like even going out to get food.

how are the stock diffs holding up? i had to switch to x01 diffs after putting a castle sidewinder8 into a slash 4x4.
stock diffs still all good, that said Xo1 diif tip MUCH appreciated, I was thinking about ordering HR hardened ones as backup

The video is not bad im just concerned people actually beliving their 3s truck will handle 6s this is just an experiment and not recommanded to do
