A beautiful BMX bike.GT knew how to make top quality bikes.Also the GT PRO from the 1980s was an absolute classic bike(the bike Greg Hill rode before he left to set up GHP),and I remember it winning BMX ACTION magazines,NORA CUP in 1983.I actually preferred BMX bikes from the 80s and 90s,and this bike is the reason why.

I sold these new in '93. Built a ton of them. Above this was the full Chromoly Mach One I think, but it looked the same. These came with 1 pc cranks though, and plastic pedals I'm pretty sure. Brings back memories.

Just picked up a 93 Interceptor yesterday. In desperate need of new decals. Little bit of mild clean up, but it's an Interceptor! Worth the work to restore. 😁

My older brother and I had the same year Interceptors. His was chrome mine was yellow. Best bike I've ever had next to my '95Pro Freestyle Tour. Brings back memories.

Had a 94 intercepter and loved it wish I still had it. I do still have two gt pro series though and many other brand's from the same time period like Elf,Powerlite,Robinson,TnT and many other's and tons and tons of part's but I wish I still had my original Intercepter

Very strange picked up a very similar one same stickers with the serial numbers showing on the BB 84 , this has the gt stamped on the end tube where mine is blank , frames.looks identical to the 80s pro series otherwise !

I believe they were 1.76 front and bavk.
I have a set of profile knobbys that are 2.25 and 1.75. That was a classic 80's set up. The 2.25 was used uo front.

They were probably 1.75s. 2.25 will probably fit in the forks.
