Holy cow, thank you so much for breaking down all the melee + bodyshot or melee + headshot combos. I was on Lockdown with my controller 2, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out the inconsistencies in doing what seemed to be the same combo but with more than one result! I thought it was meleeing the head, but as you note here, it's MOVING and JUMPING melees that will do more damage than a standing melee. Freaking subscribed.
Really awesome video. This is my first Halo (I come from competitive PC FPS) so seeing stuff like this really helps ease me into the game! Thanks for the tips.
There really isn't anything you can teach regarding that, it is just basic player skill. You can adjust your sensitivity to make it easier to keep your BR reticule on the opponent but the rest is up to you and your thumb. As long as the reticule is red your shots should be hitting even in laggy situations, and you don't have to get all headshots just your last shot needs to be in the head, so shoot 3 in the body and the last one in the head if that is easier for you.
Knowing how to use the map to your advantage is the biggest part of any competitive game. You can have terrible skill but if you can put yourself in the right positions to get kills or power weapons then you've done your part.

Hi! I just saw your comment and I'm wondering what are you playing currently?
Good work. Great editing. Awesome tutorial. Helpful
Thanks.
You can jump from s1 to s2 to s3 pretty quick, but you're pretty open when doing it
great video... a lot of the jumps i had to crouch jump
All jumps in Halo should be crouch jumps, it has been that way since Halo 1 in 2001.
Really good video :) i'm waiting for the second part!!!

Good video! But there are a lot more options for jumping on Shrine. ;)
There are a few unique ones I will show off in my next video.
Alright. ;) Check out my newest video if you need ideas.
nice vid. thx..
I know Stonetown and Coag aren't competitive maps, but anything you could find there would be much appreciated.
Any tips for br duels? How do you make sure you get 4 hits on their head everytime when matchmaking on xbox live is so laggy?

Are you crouch jumping to get up to ring 3? or can you do a regular jump?

Hold the crouch button while you are in the air. Also there is spring jumping, see this video th-cam.com/video/mLOiLTcOVuY/w-d-xo.html.
Thank you so much man, its time to practice and make some kills hahaha XD
