I recently tried yum pistachio, and I hated the smell. I sprayed it on my skin in the store in left. Why my chemistry mixed with it, oh it was beautiful on my skin. Spraying it in the air was terrible, but spraying on the skin ❤. I learned something new that day.
😂😂😂 not the funk... musk is not my favorite smell.. when its in fruity perfume I'm heartbroken, im confused.. why do they want me to smell sweet and manly at the same time.
Fragrances have TWO weeks to impress me or it’s gone. I don’t care how much a bottle costs, there’s no reason why I should have to wait months before I can enjoy it. It’s like waiting around for a man to change. 😂
@@charlenechabas9687 I will not disagree with you. It is a great scent! I enjoy it for sure, but I have the original and I just picked up a second dupe to compare… We will see which one gets to stay 😁

I got myself into fragrances through arabic perfumes this year. I'm loving the community and I'm happy to have learned my tastes through exploring... I've learned they don't all smell super high quality. some kind of remind of a canned hamburger. They get so hyped up as sexy, demure, must have, high quality and then when you get them it's like would you really choose this over all the other options you have access to? would you take a canned hamburger when you could have steak or even brunch at a park? I want to explore niche in the future and sample more. thanks for keeping it real and showing us your experience
You could potentially have worked out whether you would like some of the Arabian ones by sampling the OG's of what they are duping. Chances are you wouldn't like a lot of those either.
Nelija, I've had more miss than hits with these ordered "Middle Eastern Scents". NOW what i realized is that the real top notch Arabian scents are purchased in Dubai or other Middle Eastern Countries. For example, when i smelled Shaghaf Oud in person in Dubai vs the one i got via Amazon, total night vs day.
@@natashanatasha7692 i’m glad I’m not the only one… I didn’t wanna look crazy because I have seen lots of people say they love it and I just couldn’t understand why mine smells so bad.

I find a lot of Arabic perfumes to have a weird musk that I definitely do not like. And sometimes you don’t smell it until you hop in the shower and all those other notes start to rinse away, then you start getting the musky base in the air. Bleh. I’m not a dupes girl either so really I’ll just stick to my non-Arabic perfumes. I know they’re inexpensive but, maybe I like spending a lil coin to smell good ❤
@@desireeeeam it was that BLEH That had me weak! 😂 I love a good dupe… But I will agree with you. There is something off about some of them… I have a pretty decent size collection and I try to get rid of the ones that don’t work well with me. 😊

that might be a good video but her top fragrances might still fall outside of your tastes or preferences. are you open to sampling instead of buying bottles? which ones do you currently hate?
I think you are buying the wrong Arabian fragrances, you need to know the type of perfumes you like before splurging/ blind buying and buy from higher quality brands like khadlaj, Swiss Arabian , Al Haramain, Lattafa pride etc , some of the lower quality brands can easily be more misses than hits
Arabian are the MOST compelling scents. I cant help but wonder if theres not some bias/prejudice behind this. I mean its not like all Arabian scents are similar. And you didnt say "aouds," you said "Arabian" which implies that its not the scent group you object to, but rather the part of the world where it comes from - which makes zero sense.
I agree. There's a loooot of ignorance in all the comments of the "Arabian" videos from people who couldn't name one country in Middle East (Dubai is not a country!). Like everything, they are hit or miss and just by sheer volume, there will be a lot people don't like. Also these viral ones are their version of TJ Maxx perfumes. "Real" Middle Eastern perfumery has been renowned for centuries!
Maybe she used the incorrect term, but I don’t think she’s bias or prejudice if that’s what you’er insinuating. Secondly; a lot of the fragrances she mentioned are cheap imitations of authentic Arabic scents… which could certainly disrupt the quality of a fragrance. Don’t just jump to such harsh conclusions; instead use this moment to teach/share your knowledge of Arabic fragrances.
If someone stated a scent made them nauseous how did you deduce their decision to forego those scents as bias or prejudice? There are content creators who are middle eastern who’ve given reviews about Arabic/Middle Eastern fragrances they didn’t like. Are they also bias?
@@notimportant123What does the lack of knowledge regarding the countries origin or proper pronunciation have to do with someones’s body chemistry to a scent? There are content creators who are from UAE and shared fragrances they do not like. 🥴🥴
