Hey Andy - We have similar sound prefs & because of your rec I got these & I have to say they are AMAZING! I swapped the stock cable for a 4.4mm balanced, put on DUNU S&S tips & they are SMOKIN'! You're right: this set isnt for everyone and, to be fair, they can be bright for SOME playlists but if people are looking for a good, affordable set that plays orchestral, soundtrack, analog acoustic instrumental music this is definitely one to consider. Having tried your suggested tunings with the switches, they are ALL good in their own way. Position #3, enhanced, is fantastically detailed & great for low to med volume listening and if you wear DUNU S&S tips, the bass balances beautifully with upper freqs. Thx for the rec! Keep up the good work.

BTR15 is my Bluetooth companion for my newly acquired HD58x Jubilee (150 ohms). Volume is around 40 out of 60 - from the single ended port, stock cable. Heck, I don't even feel the need to order a balance cable immediately.
It's not perfect of course, and I don't care with crappy Fiio app either. Just a good LDAC dongle for going around the house and enjoying the coffee on the porch ☕
Because it is so straight forward and just outright amazing as a natural/neutral DAC, BTR15 to me is a true underrated DAC, I use it more alongside HIBY FC6 over tons of other choices at my disposal
Nice video. Andy, any suggestions for a slam, Bass and musical iem?
I'm close to Buy the fatfreq Scarlet mini, but i don't know if is a good choice or i need to start with something cheaper. I've the Monarch mkII and a Hiby R6pro ii.
Thanks. But first let me remind you I am perhaps not the person to ask for Bass oriented IEMs, I am a neutral sound purist and for the most part, anything I regard as Bass rich may not even be Bassy enough for hardcore Bass lovers.
But let me try to give you some ideas on what I have personally tried (I haven't tried fatfreq stuffs), if there's no budget constraint, then I would say IKKO OH10, BASN Metalen or AFUL P5, and for anything under $100, then I would say KZ Castor Bass version or KZ DQ6S

Is this a good upgrade from Tanchjim Zero + Megatron dac for FPS gaming, Valorant and Apex? I watched your Battle of Zero vid so I bought TZ and looovvveee it! Sadly the left side is dying. Would TRN VX Pro be better? Or should I just buy another TZ because it's not worth the upgrade?
Yes especially for FPS gaming, ND X12 would offer more precise imaging and accuracy over Tanchjim ZERO, you can also consider CVJ Assassin which I reviewed very recently here too, that one is another great option

That's a Sony PCM-D100, a recorder that serves as DAP too. It is the best sounding DAP I have ever used with shockingly powerful output. For my own taste and preferences, PCM-D100 is superior than any dongles in existence and it competes with higher end desktop DAC/Amps like Burson Audio Playmate 2 or FiiO K9
On Amazon it called it a CCA model this is it related to the KZ company?
I have no idea, could be because anything in China now is highly subjective to re-branding like everything else

What are the headphones that amazed you the most by its high fidelity and clarity of sound? (excluding the Sennheiser HE-1 HAHAH)
What's best for me may not be applicable to you or anyone, people tend to hear differently and have different sonic sensitivity to different segment of sound frequency.
Having said that, a few years ago I was on the journey looking for my Endgame. I considered and tested a few including Sennheiser HD800s, Sony MDR Z1R, Beyerdynamic T5 Tesla and a few more I can't remember. I ended up with an IEM instead, I ended up with Shure KSE1500 (KSA1200 Amp only model) which I find to be the ultimate sound experience only a legitimate Electrostatic could offer (since I don't have enough money to buy the flagship STAX SR-009S Electrostatic).
I can simply say that until this very day, my desire for Endgame audio has been realized and satisfied with KSE1500, it is just on another level with the sort of sonic indulgences my taste buds like the most.
As for headphones, I use and I love HD600 and Fostex T40RP MK3 the most, and now also Sony MDR7506. The three of them I prefer more over much more expensive headphones, so I can say at this age and time, price does not necessarily determine what your ears love the most
