I'm on elektronauts spreading as much personal experience as I possibly can, but I think that rytm is one of these devices where one needs to find their own balance with, first step imho is stop looking at it as a drum machine and start looking at it as an instrument, many people get hang on the shortcomings opposed to other devices out there, but imo this is a very unique instrument and once you start pushing it - it starts to sing in a very unique way. one of a kind!
