What a Westy was born to do, cranking out those miles in comfort! Stunning.

LOVE the SAILING! So nice to see a blue water boat running through her paces and not most of the video of hiking on an island or watching a girl swim. Thanks for the great videos!

Our absolute pleasure. Glad you like the videos. The next upload will have a bit more chit chat in it but also some wonderful sailing footage. You might just have to fast forward past the chatter...

Thank you for the nice historical tidbit on Colin Archer!
Your videos of Little Wing are rapidly becoming the go-to place for those who love to see Westsail’s doing what they do best: mastering whatever the sea will present on any given day. 👍👍

What a cracking sail at 8 knots. Interesting to see OpenCPN running on Android - I had read it wasn't very reliable but I guess you prove differently.

Thanks for your comment. I do have a PC with Open CPN so I consider the tablet more just as a display whilst being underway and use the PC for plotting etc. It is quite an amazing program and I got so frustrated with alternatives that I tried.

Beautiful, letting the sailing and boat performance do the talking! “Ripping along” impressive!
I see you are using Open CPN...How do like it?
Sending some random pictures this morning.

Thanks Ed. The Open CPN is quite amazing but probably a separate discussion...

Also is your windvane a Cape Horn?

No it is a Fleming, an Australian made servo pendulum vane. It is my understanding that they were the first to go for an all stainless steel construction but don't quote me on that. Either way, it is a sturdy piece of kit and been performing well.
