Every day when I'm working at the computer doing design work, I listen to this and "On the Edge"... I have been doing this for 2 years and never get tired of hearing this group! The musicianship is sooooo incredible! If this were a CD it would be worn out by now! Flugelhorn Al
I tuned in for JM, but I have to say that Jeff Clayton on alto simply blew me away.....damn, is that one smooth cat!!!....and Rickey Woodard does not suck either. Thanks for posting this.....will listen a few more times!
My beautiful is beautiful! Unbelievable! U are truly gifted from heaven, i wish i could make my Trumpet cry & talk like u,on stage ur a jolly ole' fella, but listening to "my beautiful" expresses your true essence deep down that u "hide", it's hard to control notes on a fluglehorn,-perfect instrument 4 that ballad-, but the "wavering" of a fluglehorn showed up who u r 2 those who truly "feel" music,.. Bravo!
Fabulous playing. I got to know of James Morrison though Mnonzil Brass. Didn't take to him at first, seemed a bit flash. Shows you what an ignorant fool I was. Now I'm searching for tickets for him when he tours Germany so that I can hear him live before I leave this weird place.
Somehow i've missed this fabulous mr JM Jazz-clip! You do us Aussies proud James. Got just recently, via the Tom C channel, your very current clip from Dizzy's. But this one i am hearing now is grandiose in it's total Jazz-musicality. Having visited Burghausen recently i find they bring great Jazz players/acts and hope that they keep up this Jazz commitment. But here are a bunch of exceptional talented Jazz-artists giving their whole heart and soul in this great concert! Thanks James & group.
James, i watch this clip about every two weeks or so and find this concert just incredible! I have seen/watched you several times live/tv in Oz, over the years. It’s nearly 25 years ago that you gave this absolute mesmerising concert! Maybe it’s time to consider an repeat performance? And i must say that - Burghausen- seems the very right venue! Keep swingin’ James, and take care. Cheers!
BATTESTI, maybe you have a problem listening to truly brilliant, natural musicians? James Morrison is one of those very rare people ,only a few born every generation, who are unique in their natural ability. Many musos are good - very few are exceptional - a handful are head and shoulders above all others.

Thank you so much !
It's just ridiculous how much talent nature gave to one single man, James Morrison. Not fair.
