I bought 4K HiSense 43 inch from Reliance Digital. It seemed a better deal tyan Amazon with 3 years manufacturer warranty and additional 2 years warranty on panel. Delivery will start from 25th August, but that's fine. Let's see if this gamble payoff.

I recently bought hisense 43 a71f 4k uhd TV. I want to know uses of several settings given under picture settings. The first option is back light under which there is an option for Dynamic Backlight Control. What is this option and whether to keep it on or off. The second option under Backlight is Backlight level. All picture modes have 100 default setting while calibrated has 33. Another option under Picture is Advanced settings under which there is Over scan button. Whether to keep it on or off? Then comes color temperature. Which mode should I keep? Next option is Noise Reduction and Digital Noise Reduction. Whether to keep it on or off? Then comes Active Contrast. Same On/Off. Then comes Color Space Under which there is 2 option Auto and Native The other option under Picture setting is Calibration setting which I have seen in your video that you used to adjust picture settings. Please explain all the options under this like Color Tuner, White Balance, Gamma, Gamma Caliberation and RGB only. And the last option is Apply Picture Settings. Sir the picture quality if seen from front, I find the colors very saturated and while viewing from side angles I find whitese screen. Please guide me how to use these options to obtain a perfect picture quality.

I can understand that you are explaining Hisense TV details and it's warranty. Now I brought this TV 43" and during installation I asked for my warranty card to service engineer, they told me that I'll receive on my mail, next day I called him ,he suggested me to call in flipkart , so I did and they registered my issue and told me to wait.. to 17 Aug , I checked on invoice , there is only 1 year warranty mantion on it, any other specified extra 4 year warranty .. Is contrast ratio 5000:1 good enough? Hisense is making TVs for Vu. Vu premium tv have 100000:1, in same price. So which tv is good Vu premium or hisense 50a71f?
Dynamic contrast ratio and native contrast ratio are different, Vu doesn't have 100000:1 actual contrast ratio. Also between these two, go for Hisense.
Really can't test or verify that it works, I don't have cable/DTH connection, that's why I said "I think it integrates", there are some instructions in manual, but I really don't have access to anything to test it.

MEMC is just overrated. It's waste in sports as you can see literally 2 balls in cricket if you are watching with memc on. Trust me my tv has memc and I am saying with my personal experience. Memc is also not useful while watching movie as it make movie so smooth so it looks like you are watching a tv serial.
Good video. Would you know the brightness of this TV and is it pure 10bit or 8bit+FRC. I will mostly use it with PC and sometimes Netflix via the TV's UI. Thanks Edit: i called Hisense and confirmed the brightness and it's only 300 nits. Which is pretty low for a VA panel. However they only said it's a A+ panel and couldn't confirm whether it VA or not. But it has to be VA. So I'll go with Thomson 43 oathpro which has IPS panel with 500 nits brightness. I own two 4k TV by Thompson already and quite happy with them.
Brightness was pretty good for a well lot room. Not sure if this is a true 10 bit panel, it's probably not, no specifications were available. Would be very surprised if it is.
@@TechReflex You can check on PC. Settings>system>Display>advanced display settings(scroll down) and there it will show 10Bit, RGB, HDR ETC details. Kindly try if you can.

@@rajat9800gt i appeared after only 2 days of usage. this problem is on all hisense tvs. see a plain white image on your tv and you'll definitely black shadow on your tv. even the tv in this video if you lool closely. black shadows are a panel problem and can only be solved by completely dis assembling the tv. 25,000 may be "only 25000" for you but for me it was my hard earned money. wtf are you talking about? spend more money ? who do you think iam? if i had more money i would have purchased a better tv. even TCL and kotak tv sound is much better.

I can understand that you are explaining Hisense TV details and it's warranty. Now I brought this TV 43" and during installation I asked for my warranty card to service engineer, they told me that I'll receive on my mail, next day I called him ,he suggested me to call in flipkart , so I did and they registered my issue and told me to wait.. to 17 Aug ,
I checked on invoice , there is only 1 year warranty mantion on it, any other specified extra 4 year warranty ..
I smell something fishy..

Brother I have 2 questions.🙋
1. How many audio channels does it support (or can receive from PC) when connected through HDMI? You can check it from properties in sound control panel in your Windows PC while it is connected.
2. Can I play 5.1 channel Dolby movies through a USB plugged into the TV and get 5.1 channel audio out through it's Optical Port or HDMI ARC to my Sony 5.1 channel BluRay Home Theatre?
Actually I am not buying this TV since my questions are unanswered.

Is contrast ratio 5000:1 good enough? Hisense is making TVs for Vu. Vu premium tv have 100000:1, in same price. So which tv is good Vu premium or hisense 50a71f?
Dynamic contrast ratio and native contrast ratio are different, Vu doesn't have 100000:1 actual contrast ratio. Also between these two, go for Hisense.

Really can't test or verify that it works, I don't have cable/DTH connection, that's why I said "I think it integrates", there are some instructions in manual, but I really don't have access to anything to test it.

MEMC is just overrated. It's waste in sports as you can see literally 2 balls in cricket if you are watching with memc on. Trust me my tv has memc and I am saying with my personal experience. Memc is also not useful while watching movie as it make movie so smooth so it looks like you are watching a tv serial.

What about power consumption? Does it heat much? My 6y.o. Samsung FHD 32" heats up as small radiator and consumptions is only 48W
Good video. Would you know the brightness of this TV and is it pure 10bit or 8bit+FRC. I will mostly use it with PC and sometimes Netflix via the TV's UI. Thanks
Edit: i called Hisense and confirmed the brightness and it's only 300 nits. Which is pretty low for a VA panel. However they only said it's a A+ panel and couldn't confirm whether it VA or not. But it has to be VA. So I'll go with Thomson 43 oathpro which has IPS panel with 500 nits brightness. I own two 4k TV by Thompson already and quite happy with them.

Brightness was pretty good for a well lot room. Not sure if this is a true 10 bit panel, it's probably not, no specifications were available. Would be very surprised if it is.
Can you confirm this by contacting the brand if you could?
@@TechReflex You can check on PC. Settings>system>Display>advanced display settings(scroll down) and there it will show 10Bit, RGB, HDR ETC details. Kindly try if you can.

I haven't really used my tv much to be honest, but i have not seen this border issue yet on my tv. Maybe once i begin yo use it more it will appear.
Now coming back to some of the issues u mentioned here regarding sound .
Bro you only paid 25000rs. Thats not much for what you are getting. So calm down. Moreover spend a little money to get good speaker, and sound should be fine.
Anyway, if i see that border issue in my tb ill definitely update you.
@@rajat9800gt i appeared after only 2 days of usage. this problem is on all hisense tvs. see a plain white image on your tv and you'll definitely black shadow on your tv. even the tv in this video if you lool closely. black shadows are a panel problem and can only be solved by completely dis assembling the tv.

@@rajat9800gt problem appeared in my tv just after 2 days of usage. when i contacted the customer care they said that it's common in tvs this size but when i looked at other company's 43 inch tvs there was no such problem in them.
you better check it by watching the RGB colour testing video on TH-cam on your tv

Delay is fine but it doesn't hang. Right?
All TVs have delay in screen mirroring, it's the disadvantage of technology, not TV. Haven't tried Kodak, but this is tough to best.

Wish you could have highlighted more about the picture quality and the upscaling capabilities. As mentioned by you, there is some sort of panel gap. Probably the build quality isn't quite upto the mark. Any way, thanks for the video.
It's not a build quality issue but a design choice. This is made in India, maybe that's why it's so cheap.
