The relationship between the human and the Skippers is fascinating, especially how the human can play with their young without fear. It shows an incredible bond between species
This is number two. I can't remember the name of the first one, so you're going to have to hunt through the episodes until you find it. Unless Starbound adds a playlist for the series.
@@michaellinnet6095 Maybe a viewer will do the work. I scrolled back through all of the listings and there were only two that I hadn't seen [according to the not always accurate red bars]. Maybe going to the Redit source is necessary?
Another well written, produced and voiced video. I remember the previous episodes of the escape and the battle where the skippers helped save the alternate Terrans. I look forward to further episodes.
Actually five now. The long haired guy from the early days of the channel still has his videos here and this guy's new, plus the other three that have been here for a while.
Ok, those (practical?) sound effects had me wide eyed and grinning like a damn fool! Man I love this channel & the insanely high level of creative detail! I shouldn't have to even mention the top tier VA work from everyone I've heard in the channel... But shall & did, it's some of the very, very, very best.
great read! your stories are starting to find themselves. you might not "do voices" for your different characters, but the inflection and pacing of your reading articulates the different characters in it's own way. stay at it man, you're doing good work here on the channel
These are great. Yeah, these are really starting to feel like the old pulp sci-fi novels. For example The Journeys of McGill Feighan by Kevin O'DONNELL Jr. Can teleport, himself, others, and things, anywhere he's been before and usually wornout his welcome. Read book three "Lava" in the 90's quite fun.
Good story, but it ended far too soon! I'm glad that Starbound seems to like revisiting storylines, and I am looking forward to seeing where this one is leading.
@Vender02 I don't know about that, although I remember something about a skipper turning up with a "wizard" to save a small group of besieged humans. I was referring to Starbound's practice of returning to stories and not leaving us hanging.
@Vender02 starbound has several stories in playlists, but they are sometimes slow to add the newer stories until they become popular, and this narrator is somewhat newer than the others. If they do have it already I don't know what its titled as, because most individual titles are clickbait.
> If this video gets 2,000 likes we may write a Part 2! This IS Part 2.... The video description really needs to include the previous episode in cases like this.
@mevoiceogreartist hey there! The voice is steady and clean, good work! One thing i noticed is that you take each sentence as its own thing, similar how they do it in the news-broadcast technique. It feels like as if you replacing the punctuation in each sentence with your own exclamation sign. In this story and in storytelling and dialogue in general it would create more ambiance if you look if several sentences in a row belong together. Basically you apply the rhytm not to each sentece anew but to a paragraph when it fits. Example: "He got drunk on the good stuff. In the morning he will get the receipt" Read each sentence in the same strong rhytm, it has a very informational feel to it. And then read the first in the strong cadence, dont pause, and read the second more silently without breaking out of the rhytm. It now has a more prosaic feel to it, as if there is a story and implication that 'he' will regret it.

There is a missing episode or two in the Skipper series.

@@michaellinnet6095 Been 3 skipper episodes. The original, the one skipping between dimensions and this one.
@@anthonyb5428 Hmm. I've watched every episode and I only remember the one where they eloped during the battle. What was the other one?

This has to be the best Syfy channel. All three human narrators of the channel are very good.
Actually five now. The long haired guy from the early days of the channel still has his videos here and this guy's new, plus the other three that have been here for a while.
@@spamuel98 Thank you, didn't realize there were 5. I have only listened to three so far.

it's been ages, this is a continuation of an episode where humans saved the skipper from an arena death. they can travel without using jump tech
Thank you for the context, do you know the name of the story by any chance.
@@Agromaniumpart 1 Its called something like "humans accidentally tame the strongers monster"
This is the third part with the skippers. I think this is the best part, followed closely by the first.
@DLOFT002 do you know the name of the first video so I can watch It too?
I really hope this story keeps going 🤞 I've always had a soft spot for the 'once-enemies-now-friends' trope & this is a very good start point 😁
This is some of the best voice acting on this channel yet. You really managed to get the emotions down.
Cool! So now the Skippers are getting a series too. Looking forward to it.👍
Thank you for your Human voice Human, we Humans very much appreciate it! ❤😆
Definitely can't wait for the next chapter❤🎉 Great story!!!
The skippers remind me of the trolls from The Long Earth. I hope there's a sequel.
I was just thinking of this story today and wondered whatever happened to the characters.
Looking forward to the next installment :)

Revisiting? There Is another story about Elías or the Skippers?

@@Marcus_Postma No. Im telling you. I found part 1 of this story. That the link so you can watch It too.
Another great Universe with interesting creatures.
i hope to hear more of this one. sounds like chaos is coming to the empire
Well, this appears to be about to become even more interesting.
Part 2 please pretty please 🥺
This Is part 2 actually. Part 1 Its called "humans accidentally tame the strongers monster" or something like that.
@Vender02 thanks
Another Skipper story!!? Cool!!!!!

Amen!
New story to properly start my day🎉🎉😁
Nice...more please
I like this one. I'd like to hear more of this story unfold.
I like where this one is going…
I need more!!!😭😭
Looks like you have another playlist to create.
Loads of awesome
This could be a short series I think.
Thx
Its excellent.
Ooo I need more of this
Woooo under 1 min gang, first!
Eh, is big dog.
👍
Yo
Sure wish we could do something about all the garbage thieving AI generated channels...
This guy's voice is sexy but it's honestly hard to keep up with any story when he is reading
Yeah, he has a steady voice but very monotone, without variation in the cadence.
That's-a-me! Can I ask why? Been a VA for a good number of years now and im always looking to improve :D
