- Hey folks. On 11-30-2024 Rachel & I braved the cold to try and get some venison. I was hoping that the cold would get the deer back on the feed stations but it didn't! The deer were moving. But sometimes they come out a little too close! Hope yall enjoy the video! Links to BRO Merch is below!

Sometimes, they do come out too close.😊. I’ve been blessed with a 130 pound 8 point and a 149 pound 6 point in one week down here in Lousiana. God bless and be safe!
wow. here in Washington State we only allow 1 buck and it's restricted to. 3-pointer. minimum for White tail and mule deer
@@pystrykerstaff5378 awesome! I hope we can get some more venison in the last few weeks.
@@robert4027 Wow! Washington is a huge state. You would figure that yall would be able to have multiple buck tags.
@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors yes I agree . a small Town near me a family member lives in. . is absolutely angry towards deer in her area because they will eat her flowers and Rose bushes during the summer... they roam around all threw the town there
I really enjoyed watching you like always brother, and your right why they call it hunting not killing , be praying for me Monday morning at 7:30 go in for the 4th complete hip replacement

Well it happens like that sometimes! I enjoyed watching the deer and seeing your new 308 I’m old fashioned I guess I prefer Rachel’s rifle more traditional than the battlefield one thanks for sharing. Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday and new year and the end to another season. 😎✌🏻
Wade, I love the way you explain what you are shooting with. Just absolutely love the iron you are driving. Awesome video and thanks for sharing.

Merry Christmas Terry!!
Nice rifle!
Very nice video Wade, it's really really cold here in Virginia too. I'm going out this morning, and I am not looking forward to that part. Anyways, I'm hoping to get a big Nanny Doe, that will be the last one for me on the season. I hope all you hunters on here have a Merry Christmas and good luck filling your freezers.
@@michaelhowell2868 thanks Michael! Yall stay warm and have a very merry Christmas!
Awesome video 👍👍
I start with corn and then work in a 5 way cattle max feed! It has cottonseed in it and the Deer like it! And it is much higher in nutrients than plain corn!
@@buckhornfd2442 I didn't know about the cotton seed! I need to see if I can find some.
Many years ago, I was bow hunting in West Virginia, on a new well road, that was maybe 6 months old. While sitting in my tree stand, I saw a big red fox about 50 yards away, cross the road followed by a big 8 point. I waited a few minutes then got down. I stocked extremely slow down the road that was covered with leaves and sticks. The road dropped off really steep to the right and when I finally got to where they had crossed I noticed the fox about 20 or so yards down the hill feeding on a berry bush. I waited until he had his head in the bush, then quickly turned and drew my bow. He pulled his head out of the bush and looked at me for the longest time, while I played like a statute. When he finally put his back in the bush to take another bit I gently released the bow, brought it back against me and swiveled at the waste, to move down the road to see if I catch a glimpse of the buck. Before I could take another step, the buck jumped up the hill and landed on the road right in front of me. When I say close, I mean I could literally count the hairs on his big black nose. There we were standing face to face, you could cut tension with a knife. Matter of fact, if I'd had my knife out, I could of cut his throat, without even moving. After a minute or so, without thinking I blinked, and in that brief moment, he was gone, back down through briers and the brambles where the rabbits wouldn't go.
@@mikemccann6556 ohh dang! I can picture you and that buck wrestling on that logging road! 😂
Oh, so you can use a rifle? That's a sweet piece of machinery right there. I have a sporterized Mauser rechambered and barreled for 30-06. I use 45 grn Varget behind a Hornady 180 grn interlock SP. Boys, those were some pretty deer right there.
@@Batmite61 ohh yeah! We're not supposed to use a rifle on a deer drive. I can use whatever I want on a still h7nt!
awesome hunt, stay warm my friend stay warm
Wade, Great Video 👍, hopefully you will do a CCC, or maybe just cook 😅, to see the recipe. Anyways love the B.R.O Channel 👍.

New intro!!
Try using molasses on your feed pile. The deer here in Louisiana loves it
Love me some vortex. Have diamondacks on most of my rifles
Never seen very many animals eat pumpkin. My chickens won’t hardly touch them either.
It's been a long time since I saw a Fox Squirrel
@@johnwiggins1385 they're all over this lease John! Sometimes we'll see a solid black 1!
I love vortex scopes,I'm a FFL dealer in Florida and I ordered a Mossberg patriot rifle in 270 for a customer they come equipped with a vortex crossfire 2 scope excellent scope, and I started buying different models and ended up putting the same one you have on my 35 Remington marlin, they are very clear edge to edge and what I really like is when sighting in RIGHT is right and up is up,Most scopes are backwards left is right and up is down, And I even put a vortex on the cursed rifle we call it a Mossberg patriot in 375 Ruger this rifle will destroy nikkon, Leopold and Weaver scopes from the recoil but the vortex hog hunter has held zero
@@Latemodellisa Lisa, I put 3 new Vortex scopes on 3 different rifles over the Summer. I love em!
Buy those tidewe heated vests and you can control how hot you want it.
@@scottkaercher1733 TideWe offered to send me some! I may have to take em up on the offer now!!
Mr. Wade I’m strictly a bow hunter. That’s just what I prefer. I finally was able to sit my stand on Tuesday evening. I shot my biggest to date. A beautiful 10pt. I wish there was a way to send a picture because I’d love to share it with you & your family. Especially Capt. Buster. I can’t imagine the mansion God has built for him when he’s called home.❤❤

B.R.O. can you do some more 20guage field loads please and thank you
👍👍
Now ain't that the way it goes. I have had similar things like that happen to me. Twice I had bucks come up on me and I just knew where I was going to get a shot only for them to disappear. That is a nice rifle you got there. How is the recoil? I am going to have to watch it with this shoulder from now on and am thinking I may have to go to a semi auto.
@@charlesdriggers199 it's been that k8nd of season! Capt Buster had to have eye surgery and that set him back over half the season!
@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors I hope he is doing alright. I understand how things have to be put on hold. You might not like it, but it is what is needed.
it is getting so cold have to have a lil buddy heater in the stand with me or couldnt stand it
@@timlong1252 we're not used to this kind of cold around here Tim. And the older ya get the more it hurts old injuries...
