I'm not too into BR540, but even though I live in a place where fragrances are pretty rare, I do smell it in the air often, or at least clones trying to do the BR540 thing.
Wow surprised BR540 is outselling almost everything else, not just unisex, and not just niche. Also, surprised at the massive distance between BR540 and the next one here.
I have doubts on BR540 nos shown here. When I searched on internet the MFK revenue was shown as 15 to 20 million USD. If 540 revenue is 67 million then company revenue has to be higher. Also if they were selling so well they wouldn't have sold out to LVMH. The company I mean. Just hype with fake nos.
Despite Tom Ford getting sort of a bad rep in the fragrance community - people saying it’s boring and doesn’t smell that good, I guess the numbers speak for themselves. People love Tom Fords.
Go with the Maison Alhambra one. It’s very cheap and good. I don’t like the DNA even tho I tried to love it but it’s the same as TF if you like this one you will like that.
Respectfully Disagree. I smell this stuff on me for 12 hrs at least. I’m not saying you specifically do this but a lot of people that complain about the performance of a scent only use like 2 sprays. That’s not enough IMHO for 99% of the scents out there. Unless it’s like Black Orchid, Bentley Intense, Gucci Guilty Absolute, or Interlude I’m spraying at least 4-5 times on the cold weather stuff and 8-10 on the summer scents. Especially ones like Man eau Fraiche and Aqua De Parma Colonia Essenza.
@darrellgrant7615 spray on each wrist, 2 on shirt, and was a decant with a pressurized atomizer that was way better than any Tom Ford atomizers. You must be mistaking the EdP for the Parfum or Intense versions. Even the reviews commonly state lackluster performance.
I’m surprised Dior homme parfum is not in the list. But it’s good for me I don’t want people to wear it. I promoted angel share in my office and now EVERYBODY is wearing it. People are asking what am I wearing now and I don’t tell them… it’s Dior homme parfum till it’s too hot then I’ll go back to Eros and Y. Any suggestions for summer stuff that smell rich and happy like Dior homme parfum ?
Dior Homme parfum doesn’t exist in the US market. It’s only in Europe and eastern countries. That’s pretty much why it doesn’t even show up in top 30’s.
No, and it never will be. Guerlain and Tom Ford are both always going to be in that awkward middle ground where nobody will ever fully agree on whether they’re “designer” or “niche”… the debate will forever rage on… 😂
Yeah, many of Guerlain's fragrances are too cheap to be called niche, and Tom Ford is too expensive to be called designer. Technically, Tom Ford is a designer, and Guerlain is niche because fragrances is all they do. Guerlain has also been around so long, people just think it's a designer. Shalimar started being mass produced in 1926. Of course, by that logic, Guerlain and Chanel would be thought of the same way 😅
B540 being in first for me just show the power of hype train, is it bad? no, is it anything extraordinary? defenitly not and its very expensive even as Niche, even maison francis have much better fragrances
I just got a sample delivered yesterday, and ngl I am pretty surprised how hyped it is for what it is. It does smell good. But for my tastes, I've smelled better. Maybe it grows on me. Halfeti is a unisex fragrance that I think is amazing. I've gotten several complements on it. I also like Bewitching Yasmine, which is a female marketed fragrance that I like and would wear as a guy. Grand Soir is also better and imo a top tier fragrance. (Shocked Halfeti isnt even on the list whatsoever. But that's cool with me. I think the house is underrated, and am okay with less people wearing their stuff here in the usa)
There’s something about the DNA man - literally everyone I’ve shown it to has absolutely LOVED it and many people have run out the next day to buy clones or similar fragrances. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any DNA win people over so quickly, even though I can’t stand the stuff myself… So I don’t think it’s all hype personally, I think it’s a combination of hype and lots of people wearing it from smelling it on other people (helped by it being super strong and projecting well). The more people wear it, the more people smell it on them and run out to buy it themselves, and so on… just like how Acqua Di Gio or 1 Million got so popular back in the day…
Tom Ford: "i'm gonna demonetize this whole channel"
love these types of vids man, keep it going!
Clones must really be taking a big bite out of Tom Ford's sales.
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
I’m a little late on this video series but I’m curious if these fragrances increased their sales or if it’s because the prices have gone up?
Great review. Nobody is doing this level of detail.
An exploring ingredient type video with Richard herpin would be super interesting, looking forward to that!

7:55 I recently got TF BO Parfum and I love it. Smells and longevity are great. 🔥
Dior: “Hey Francis, we will pay you $250,000 a year to be our in house perfumer”
Francis Kurkdijan: “Am I a joke to you?”
Tom Ford and Jo Malone are both owned by Estee Lauder.....same big parent company..

That coffee world-shirt tho😮 That´s niche

you shot the video 45 days ago... wow. No wonder you started posting more on Extra.
Are these department store results? Are discounters included in these stats?
I got Oud Wood EdP last year after all the glowing reviews. The performance is abysmal. Skin scent in an hour or less.

I did not know Jo molane was that populair.
I have no interest in owning any of them.
Oud Wood 🔥🔥🔥

@@Q_N- ahaa didn’t know that.
@@BillSaggar 👍 Always happy to help
No wonder mfk has no problems raising their prices again on March 1st
oh what are the new prices
Wait am I trippin? Where the heck is tobacco vanille?!?
so... is it already a consensus that tom ford is niche?

It looks that its most influential by women.
Women are the main consumers of cosmetics and they seem to spend without discretion so I wouldn’t be surprised.
Quite surprised that Chanel, Dior, Hermes or Guerlain didn't even make the Top 30.
lol Tom ford taking over the top spots 🤣
Yeah, TF and JM about run the unisex market it seems
BR540 😂😂😂
Shmeow

Mancera Instant Crush is so much better imo, I love the BR540 dna personally but mancera did it better
