When I took a college course in flower arrangements (1980) I learned odd numbers 1,3,5,7 etc are your best friend. Example 1 Dahlia, 3 roses,5 greenery,7 sprigs baby breath. I apply the same reasoning when putting florals in resin. Works every time! I love watching your videos for inspiration
Hey Michelle, have you done a video explaining all the different types of resin and epoxy and what they’re best and worst for? I would love if you did, you explain things so well for me to understand I really like learning from you.
I really enjoy your tutorials and how you explain each step, the bookmarks are all really awesome and I love the pendant and earring set, Just gorgeous
You're a SPECTACULAR Resin Artist, Michelle! I'm excited to see you in "real time" because I can't fast forward (even though I'm tempted to do so).😉 I'm saying this because I have a "thing" for your photo shots at the end of your video (as I've commented on in previous videos! TY for ALL of your talents...you make my day!
Those are awesome. You make the bubbles look so easy! I got frustrated watching the Aggies, so I had to come over and watch your video and get happy again. 🤣🤣
I love the bookmarks! They are so much fun because you can create so many different things without using a lot of resin… I was shocked you used pink for your bookmark. 😉 I had the same thing happen to me on losing color on a cheap alcohol ink a couple of weeks ago… I was like “where did it go!” lol 😆
They all turned out beautiful and unique! A while ago, I made several dozen for my daughter when she did a book signing for her book. She gave them out with her autographed book. I used the circuit sticker sheets to print up an excerpts from her book. I would have gone crazy weeding if I had to cut out all the words. The sticker paper was just so much easier and faster.
Michelle, I am really happy I watched this video. I could not understand the hardening time of the bookmarks. Mine were poured and decorated about 30 days ago. Mine were bendy, and they are just beginning to harden. Whew once again I learn something new.
Thank you Michelle everything is beautiful. Thank you for giving the list of products and where you got them from I really appreciate that. I just have one question for you. How did you do the lettering on your bookmarks? I didn't see anything in the listing for that. I think it's beautiful. I've been watching your work for a while you're awesome. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us. You're a great teacher as well as an exceptional artist. Thank you again from Rochester New York. 👍
Thank you so much for the encouragement Patricia! For the lettering I cut it out on my cricut machine. If you don't have one you can buy fancy letting in the sticker dept. at the craft stores as well.
I love all of these. I’ve been wanting to try the bubble technique and now I think I’ll have to do it. What did you use for the golden sand in the beach bookmarks. It’s beautiful. Thank you!❤👏🏻👏🏻
You and floral. 😂 I wouldn't want bother you with floral arrangement rules. I don't want to mess with your natural talent. You just do what you do because you are just fine with balance, color, and shape. I wish I was that good before learning the "rules". 😊 They turned out great.
Great video Michelle! I'm wondering if you could've added some color to the back of the green one that the alcohol ink disappeared since both sides needed to have a UV coat? Or would that have made it weird looking? I'm sure this will come up in my own pieces so I'm just trying to plan for it. Thanks for always sharing your knowledge, successes, and even your oopsies with us!! 🩷
Love these Michelle! So I have some pieces I want to *stage* for pictures. Are some of your pictures, like the cute little flower one just on a picture/postcard of the sunset? Thx!!! ❤❤❤👍👍
Do you know if there is a way to unbend them if you don't have a heat mat? And, for the Just One More Chapter bookmark, you could have made the back coat in color. Then it wouldn't have messed up the gold wording.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1, thanks. I never even think of my hair dryer, because I am naturally curly, and lazy, so I let my hair dry in the wind. I should really get it out and move it to the craft room. LOL!
These are gorgeous!!! But do you really sell a lot of bookmarks? I am doing an indoor show in Nov. I thought about doing some bookmarks, but I was wondering if people still read books. Everyone I know has an electronic reader!! Even this old lady has one. Haven't picked up a real book in forever!

They are all so pretty. You always say you're not good at floral🌼🌸💐⚘️🌹🥀 arrangement, BUT they always come out looking beautiful!!!
Thank you so much 😊 I'm sure it's not talent, just lucky LOL

She has done one. I think it's #321. Take a look and see if that's what you're looking for. 😊

Thank you so much!
Thank you Michelle for explaining everything you are doing and listing what products you use. That’s so helpful for all of us. Beautiful book marks.
You are so welcome!
These are beautiful. My favorite is the clear 📖 mark with the tiny flowers 💐. My second favorite is the pink & silver 📖 mark.
My favorite is the pink and silver one! Nice bookmarks! I do notice when I make bookmarks they do tend to curl a bit! Nice to know how to fix that!
I appreciate the step by step info! I loved the beach bookmarks.
They all came out very beautiful.
Thank you for another wonderful. Please have a blessed day Michelle
They look gorgeous every one ,but I like that with the flowers on best 🌸🌼🌺🌷🌹

I loved all of these, Michelle! Such a variety of styles. Very inspiring! I’m going to try the soap bubble thing one of these days! Thx. again!

Try UV resin, it works wonders on them!
Great explanation... they are all very cool. ❤
Very beautiful. I especially love the beach ones...might need to make myself one with sea turtle silhouettes. ❤
If I had turtles I would have put them in, I almost put in a mermaid or shark but decided against it.
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I have all kinds of silhouettes from Cricut. But I'll have to pay for a month to cut them. Which is annoying.
@@kdscraftcorner I have a subscription but to cut that tiny would be a pain
I love all of them 🤩
I have been doing resin almost 5 years and have never tried bookmarks! You have made me want to do some!! 😅
You should!
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I'm going to and it's all your fault!! 🤣
Very pretty! You could put another coat with light green on the back of the "one more chapter"
Yes, I don't know why I didn't think of that!
Pretty!
You could bend them into open braclets while they are still bendy and put little dangle charms in the hole😊
A plethora of pulchritude! Since they are bookmarks, thought I’d stay in character and wax poetic - lol!
LOL Great!
Pretty kool
Love them, very elegant. Shame I could not use any as they tend to dent our pages which drives both myself and my daughter insane.
Nice
Viewing from the caribbean they are goregous michelle

Hi Michele what is the the best way to Mica and alcohol ink ?
I'm not sure I understand your question

I don't, but if you ever find one let me know! I've wondered myself.

Yes I should have back coated with the green. If you don’t have a heat mat use your hair dryer.

wondering where your gloves were when doing this project. worry about you with that UV resin. Be safe.
If I'm confident I won't touch it I have taken the chance, I know I shouldn't but I hate wasting a pair of gloves for just a couple minutes.
