      @@melenalunaa hey there! Like the original comment said, to each their own. You don’t have to like the same book someone else does, and someone else most definitely does not have to like the same book you do, so that comment about “not being able to appreciate good writing” was pretty uncalled for and rude. Is there anyone else here who read Heartless Hunter and also disliked it? My thoughts in a nutshell: it's poorly written, all "tell" with no "show" and the Crimson Moth is literally just an idea, she does barely anything impressive the entire time. She's not the heroine she's described as on the book jacket. Also, the ending was a major cop-out in so many ways.

Demon King is the first in a 4 book YA fantasy series called Seven Realms, I think is the series name.
      Dance of Thieves I believe is a spin off of The Kiss of Deception series, so if you haven't read that, definitely do! I loved the series, solid 4 star series for me. When the Moon Hatched... no??? Whaaaaaat? Why? I'd like to know, because I loved it

    • @Kendallsreads
      @Kendallsreads  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I wanted to love it but I struggled so hard to get through it! The main reason being the glossary situation, very hard for me to be immersed in the book when I felt like I constantly needed to check back to understand what terms meant. I also didn’t enjoy the writing style or the inner dialogue of the FMC😕 I find this one to be very controversial and see so many people I’m mutuals with love it! I’m glad you enjoyed it🫶🏼

    • @zonnyja
      @zonnyja 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Kendallsreads I see your point with the glossary, that was hard for me too, especially since I read it in kindle. The only 'wtf?' part for me was when Raeve was kidnapped by those strange mountain men who wanted her to have children. That was off. But it was something I was willing to trade, because I fell in love with it very quickly. The dragons, the magic system, the world itself.
      When we read about how Elluin's brother's dragon curled up in the sky, and that is also Raeve's favorite moon, that was the first time I started suspecting there was some connection between them, but it still suprised me to find out they are the same. I mean, I could have guessed it, but I didn't. 😄 I'm really looking forward to the next book, I have a feeling more and more people will find out, that princess Kyzari is actually Kaan's daughter. I wonder if Kaan knows.

    commitment issues will never be an issue for me (my favorite book is a 551-chapter-long webnovel with an estimated word count around that of the entire harry potter series) (it's omniscient reader's viewpoint and it's amazing and literally shifted my worldview and how i see people and stories in general, and it raised my standards for other stories so much for what that's worth lmao--that said idk if it would align with your interests judging by the list in this video skjdfhs)
