Why are you reviewing this product as UNIQU Lighting kit when is not ? you got a copy on Amazon and said that you will review the UNIQU lighting kit? I know you mentioned they all the same but I think you are wrong. I myself have a unit I bought on Amazon last year and was floppy and the uniqu lighting kit is design with better quality product. I can share a picture of both products holding the phone so you can see the difference. Just writing this review cuz I’m obsess with my lighting kit and I don’t think the uniqu lighting kit is as unstable as you are showing in your video with the generic one from amazon you are using.
I did say in my video that if Uniqu wants to send me their product, they're more than welcome to do so, but as is the product itself in my opinion is not worth the $50 I paid for it, and definitely not the $80 they charge for it.
@T3G Media I was also skeptical but the battery life for the uniqu is different than what I've seen in others, also max heights vary slightly between different brands by centimeters mind you, but that tells me they're built differently because why would one say it's shorter when it's more likely people would want a taller one? I'm just guessing on that because that's what I thought then remembered I'm short AF. Ultimately I decided to go with Olivia simply because they offer a 6 month warranty and an option for accidental damage handling. And in my experience with Amazon, nearly everything is a cheap knock off... even name brand items are fake especially in the art world.... idk not trying to be rude but just food for thought. Also... the other review videos for both Uniqu and Olivia do not have wobbly stands like yours did as they're made from aluminum, not plastic and they tighten by turning so they're super rigid. Some had issues at first opening it because everything was so tight and rigid. So I truly think yours was just a typical Amazon knock offs... interesting perspective, though. If I remember I'll come back and let you know how the Olivia rates 😉
TLDR: Other review videos of Olivia and Uniqu are not wobbly and Amazon is notorious for knock offs. 😊

In my experience the wobbling doesn't come from the materials but the construction. Based on the photos I've seen the construction is the same, and UNIQU still only has an iPhone 6 on their stand in the photos, which means they're not testing with modern flagship devices which are larger and heavier.
@@T3GMedia I just recieved a uniqu one and it looks and feels exactly the same as the one you're showing. Very flimsy. I had watched some other reviews before purchase that were promissing, but the actual product is pretty disapointing.

Thank you for such a honest review of this product. I got original one from Unique, and all what you said, is absolutely true. This is pointless device, I bought it for 80$, direct from Unique website. I am very regret, this is really wasted of money.
Everything you said is absolutely true. the tripod is unstable, I'm already thinking of taping the base to the brick with tape. for the price of $80 it sounds very funny. my iphone 13 pro max outweighs absolutely. the base of the device is visible in the camera view, this is an absolute minus. I do not recommend this product, you will just throw your money in the trash. It's a pity that I watched your video after the purchase, I would never have ordered this product if I had watched your video earlier.
You are the best reviewer I've watched for this product. I was going to purchased to record making jewelry. Thank you for the pros and the cons. Most reviewers won't say the cons.

This is a VERY, VERY ACCURATE review! I clicked on a Uniqu ad from Instagram feed and bought it. The lighting and glare is an issue very discouraging, the flimliness is an issue it tilts with my Samsung S21+, and the base, you can't turn it to space. It's not worth what I paid because I still will need to use my tripod for filming which defeats the reason I bought the lighting kit. It works well for overhead closeup unboxing with a dark background. Great review, true statements. 👍🏽

If the blue led light is blinking while charging, does it mean it is fully charged or not yet fully charged?
Sorry for the late response, but i did confirm that blinking is while charging only. Solid blue when fully charged.

It was a bit hard to push out the first time but you just gotta slide it out toward the hinge/charger end. It'll come out.
