Instead of banning genres and tempos, they should have banned Unison Midi Chord Packs and Plugins
Dude dissed a whole genre
@@ghfjfghjasdfasdf ooo I found one
@@streetshamanproductions unison is a scam company :p
@@ghfjfghjasdfasdf bc if you cant spend an hour learning how to click basic chords in you need to quit.
And waves audio and the update plan
Well done, Behringer!
You've managed to recreate the exact sound of Cubase 3.7's very first VST, the Neon.
All you need to now is invent time travel, go back twenty five years and you're all set. 😂
Still, that thing sounded ridiculously good through massive amounts of distortion.
@@unduloid Do you think so?
I'm still not sure all these newfangled VST thingamajigs are ever going to catch on.🙃
@@lairdkilbarchan
IKR? Nothing beats my Boss SP-505 and Casio PT-100.
That's what I thought. Very dated
I thought it kinda looked like a shittier version of AIR Vacuum (not even Pro), which I have not ever used btw. Maybe someone will choke reading this joke.
I like the Arturia smartwatch!
They got a smartwatch now??
It is incorporated into the AstroLab i guess
Arturia nest thermostat collab
@@2024style Yes, it's right in the center of the new keyboard 🤣
The Smart home thermostat they sell looks exactly like that screen module of that keyboard
lmaoo
😂 it's hilarious how bad the demo of the Behringer plugin is
to be fair it was some random person. i kinda feel bad for putting it out there, i think he was just messing around and didn't really cut out bad parts etc..
@@Weaverbeats yeah that's true
Behringer: "We need a guy that can play keys like a God for our new VST demo" vs Reality: " Couldn't find that guy, but we found this guy sleeping behind a dumpster"
Well, I good a good bottle of vodka out of it, so it was not all in vain.
@@unduloidBrown Goose or Absuloot?
@@GizzyDillespee
It was 白ウォッカ. Accept no substitutes!
No this guy is a real synth player. A total random might touch a black key.
So Arturia's design team meeting for the astrolabe went something like this. "OK guys, the Keylab 88 mk3 is way overdue, we have the go ahead from the top dogs, they expect us to smash this one outta the park. But first lets get high"
It's a performance piano player with Analog Lab built in, and not a midi controller let like the Keylab series which I hope will.go.crazy with new features. But this astrolab is hella mid. For 2000 bucks, I would expect poly aftertouch and some sort internal sequencer. It doesn't have to be crazy Akai MPC level. But just something.
Unableton, AmTools, Mansion Band and Absurdity. Propellerhead Unfounded.
I love that you're a part of this world. This shit's awesome
Thanks man it's always fun
@@Weaverbeats ya it looks like a blast
In Greece 1-2 months ago a law passed that obliges every club/coffee shop and all the shops that play music to play at least 40% of Greek music. By law.
that's fucked up, here (italy) only radios needs to have as t least 30% Italian songs
About time, in fact it should be all greek music, especially 60’s 70’s 80’s 👌
The should play Vangelis 24/7😂
It's all Greek music to me
Here in Canada radio stations have to play 50% Canadian content minimum. Most of that is utter garbage of course and the only good artists and bands are more underground and would never actually get played on the radio... ugh
“Sounds like the stock NN-19 patch in Reason” true
The NN-19 is a sampler though...
@@unduloid it just sounds like the default preset when you load it up. I’m sure whatever the NN-19 was sampling is about the same thing the Arturia Astrolab was modeling their patch after.
@@unduloid oh I see what you mean. Yeah, for some reason all device presets are called “patches” in Reason. Even the NN-19 is semi-modular, with CV inputs on its rear rack display.
The Astrolab is sold as the keyboard to access Arturia resets from Analog lab without a computer having to be connected to it on stage, with basic daw arrangement with only 4 parts for live play back. However is it really that much of a big deal to not have a laptop on stage? The answer is no.
D'n'B is saved. You still can make a project 80 Bpm, just make it all double time and technically, when sharia police comes, you show them the project, they see 80, you're all checked.
When I red about that law few days ago I also thought that.. sometimes BPM can be set in double or half depending on how sequencer is used. So someone has a business in making drum'b'bass mixes that sound like double time when played at 170 for chechenyans so they can play it at 85bpm and and enjoy it legally , as it fits perfectly into "chechenyan spirit" in that BPM. This was stated as explanation by chechen officials, that this law is made because too slow or too fast music violates chechenyan spirit.
Us Junglists will always find a way.
Make dnb at 88 bpm. But set sequence to 1/16 XD
I love the bit on the Behringer VST, where he's playing a crap sound a few times, then adjusts the release of an envelope, and tries it again. Nope, strangely it still sounds crap, just for longer
The Behringer synth sounded _exactly_ the way I envisaged it would. 🤭
Truth
@@Weaverbeats Blatant copy of Tone2's stuff too
Not even close, by the mouth of Tone2@@Fl4ppers
How can you guys say anything about the synth with the leaked video? they guy using it doesnt even know what he is doing/having a stroke.
Who the fuck was playing that behringer synth? I think it was one of those cats who walk across pianos n shit
A few piano/keyboard players saying that Arturia are back to putting shit keybeds on their keyboards again, I notice. For £1700 that seems like a nonsense. Also that screen is tiny. TINY!
damn
The Behringer DAW is most likely another Ardour fork, like Waves Tracks Live and Harrison Mixbus.
5:10 disableton ...
it was too obvious
triggered fruity lgbtq loops user
lol That 80 - 114 BPM also includes Amapiano, DJ Mustard West cost hiphop, and even reggaeton mostly are within that range. Trap is outside that range.
If I was Andy Stott I'd make a point of going on tour in Chechnya
Well guess that brings new meaning to outlaw party! 😂
I nearly got a heart attack when I saw it was £143 to upgrade from autotune pro x to 11. It cost me £176 TO BUY autotune last year with the fl discount, no way I'm paying nearly the same ammount just to update
Behringer returning to their roots of making garbage products
You acting like they ever left their roots 😂 😂 😂 😂
@@JayfkProductions876 you’re acting like you’d turn your nose up at any of their analog clones 🤨
They ripped off Tone2. Thats why they pulled it down.
It doesn’t look like any Tone2 plugin.
A lot of classical music is lower than 80 BPM
How long has that G-Sonique plugin been knocking around? System requirements...
Pentium III 1200 Mhz / 256 MB Ram
Windows XP/7/8/10
VST/VSTi compliant host (Cubase, FL Studio, Ableton, Studio One, Sonar, Reaper)
it is modeled on ableton`s analog xD
classical musical as well 🤯 pretty sure that rules out alot of this too, most composers have tracks wity varying tempos
The moto for Antares should be "Just because we can doesn't mean we should"
Get well soon CDJ ❤
God I love this guys channel. Hilarious. Literally no one else could ever do this like he does.
Easy solution: make it in f e 200 bpm and say it's 100, then go ahead and release it as [Doubletime-Remix]
The Behringer vst sounds like Subtractor from Reason. It's like any generic early '00s VST really.
And that G-Sonique plugin. It amuses me that a plugin in 2024 is demoed on a version of FL Studio that looks about 10 years out of date. Makes me wonder if they are using a "less official" version 😁
The only Behringer I like is the vocoder, the rest I don't even consider.
The Arturia with aftertouch is pretty nice, though not without alternatives.
One body of work, BE prolly means segue (to be heard or seen without interruption). Not sure if I could do that 😂
Arturia added a Nest thermostat to their keyboards
There is NO dubstep in Chechnya.
Not anymore there's not
@@Weaverbeats Dubstep has NEVER existed in Chechnya ;)
A dub siren is maybe the easiest possible thing to synthesize.
Behringer just reskinned the stock Ableton analog synth LMFAO.
I might have to look at that G-Sonique Club System plugin, for real.
That space kid looks like Vitas!
That fookin microphone your using is crispy
Iv'e been progressing back to Drum & Bass production from House. Cant wait to do some rollers for our Russian music lovers! Guys we've got your back!!
Fully agree that a musical work should be a single cohesive group of pieces because that's what you need to fully develop an artistic idea. If you have the luxury of already being financially independent like she is then that's the way to completely explore a new creative inspiration you have. Like some if the great classic albums of the past. So different than creating little ideas for singles streaming, maybe if more established artists push the whole album listening experience people might begin to discover it again.
Behringer messed up the day they asked fakebook but hey its fakebook what did they expect
80 to 116 bpm is also 160 to 232 bpm?
OMG Lasers!!!
I need to know which Rekordbox analysis mode Chechnya uses for DNB.
There's a nice club room in Slate's VSX.
Yo Weaver Nothing wrong With Reasons NN 19 stock sounds dude.
i mean the one it loads with
@@Weaverbeats Ohh good, for a minute there I was prepared to go to WW3 over it.
You are like the moistcritical of music production
Raper? Gonna get demonitized bro!
the vst sounds like my deepmind tbh. tons of stock on that that sound like this. i think thats what they wanted to demonstrate.
So many things going on in this one. So much to comment on. I'll pick one. Just one.
Billie Eilish created a "concept album". I like that. Given how big she got, I'm pretty sure most tracks will sell pretty well. I'll listen to the full album once in order. And that will be last time, I'm sure.
Real dubstep is all halftime anyway
70 is not in the permitted range
Arturia do have to wow you with a theatrical experience, it's mandatory (because French)
3:57 I watched 30 seconds of this same video. They’re absolutely killing it with hardware but this didn’t sound good at all.
Wow a keyboard that plays vst's 😮😂
lol
5:20 also apparently they “were inspired by” the ui of tone2 saurus, there’s a kvr thread if you wanna read more drama
This is complete nonsense. Saurus looks completely different.
@@mudi2000a yeah i think it’s not a complete clone visually, but saurus does have a distinct look which is similar to behringer’s plugin
How many sounds is too many sounds? 13,763 sounds is too many sounds
yes
Chechnya banned riddim?? Where's my passport!?!
I hated Auto Tune before it was cool to hate Auto Tune 😆
That leaked synth looks too much like Rayblaster from Tone2.
Various famous youtube gear reviewers getting butthurt when AstroCrap are critiqued
Behringer synth gives electra vibes
Goat
love you brother
Serious question, why the fuck is that mod/pitch wheel moving by itself? I kid you not, I actually bought something from M-Audio (It's called oxygen and it was $110), never thought I'd say that, but it finally happened. Along with that I got some super high end awesome $5 devices. Including a "6d surround bass" set of IEMs, I'm sure there's no way it'll suck ass (coz it's metal).
*Btw, for compact/inexpensive setups, there's some rad software for using multiple input devices (coz apparently, crapple and makroshaft are retarded).
OMG that Behringer Vintage VST is bad. How embarrassing. Not just Antares milking customers, UAD and Izotope too. Auto-tune 11 - nothing improved over the last version. Even tech support tokld me "just keep what you've got" UA Console, can't hide plugins you don't own anymore, Izotope RX11, only minor new features over RX10. I wouldn't pay to upgrade any of these. Smells of desperation to me and it seems like these vendors have run out of compelling new ideas. Is this where we're at?
Why no faders?! Seriously, who even cares about a microscopic led display, when you have a huge computer monitor in front of you? GIVE ME FADERS.
Video of suno ai coming or no ?
lol, the fooled me with the click bate 😄😄 ill never touch anything beringer again even if its free 😆😆
When a saw Antares release Auto-Tune 11, I laughed - hard
another pointless update where I can't even sell the plugin - which is illegal
no thanks
Been enjoying the usual blitz of influencers pretending to soyface over a keyboard that lets you load a minimoog and CS80 onto it.. and has 4 knobs
just release your dnb at halftime lmfao
Dubstep can be 140, dnb can be 85ish imho
I paid $9.99 for MPC Stems
Behringer can't even make an original UI layout for their VST synth. That shit is almost completely copied from Ableton Analog synth.
80 is just 160 so we good
This Arturia keyboard is the worst interface ever, especially if you plan to play live. It looks like a failed Apple product.
Instead of ableton: Ubleton
Regarding the Behringer VST… I missed it but also the demos on the channel you posted completely suck. He manages to let every VST sound like sh*t
Arturia has to make a dud at least once, it just looks like an expensive box full of preset sounds.
who tf doesnt know autotune and watches this video
lmaooo
The biggest there’s no their there And I am an Arturia fan boy Now that they are putting kids in space I am out
2:14 That's so ironically stupid for ban a music sub genre, I heard worst music in my life but why not ban regeton. 🤦
I would ban Dub Step worldwide if I could 😅
Free software synth from Behringer. And somehow that's a shit thing? What the fuck do people want? It's a fucking synthesizer! Experiment with it and design your own sounds! I've tried it a bit and it's interesting, AND IT'S FREE!
One thing about the synth-TH-cam-review scene is it seems really nitpicky.
Maybe I've just fallen for the meme.
You can't have 120 bpm? 😂
How do they measure it also?
Double time 80 bpm is 160 bpm... "I just used half steps"
supposedly this includes double time also, so no dnb.
Turns out the AstroLab is bi timbral my Yamaha DJX is 16 part timbral, gimme a break
Three syllables: Melodyne.
Antares Autotune 11 update is scam
ngl it kinda seems like it
The reaper joke you made was low hanging fruit, but I generally like your work otherwise.
I don't like dubstep. Looks like I need to learn to write dubstep so I can honor the stupidest leaders on the planet.
HAHAAHHA!! :) PUTIN WHEN HE BEST! :)
lmao, only hip hop fan in russia 😁😄
Behringer = 💩
Behringer crap pile.
Tom McDonald makes better beats than you.
Just play at 90 bpm but put twice as many notes in.. It will sound super fast but only be 90 bpm and you may also have created a new genre.. 🤪🫤
the garbage comment on the Behringer vst didn’t age to wel…. lmao… it is actually a great little synth for free
I literally tune in everytime just to see his facial expressions during the demos 😭😭😭
