- Welcome back to my channel.
After a wonderfully quiet Christmas it has been really nice to get back into my craft room and have a play in my paper bag journal. I have found my box of fussy cuts , that have been forgotten about on my shelf! and I found some of my left over calendar journal pages, which go perfect in my paper bag journal. So a fun time.

Oh Gi, you’ve no idea how calming your voice is. My soul is hurting as this was year 2 of losing my mum. I was only in my 30s and it happened very quickly. So my heart has longed for her this Christmas and it’s her birthday 11th Jan. I’ve been in a bit of a mess but hearing your familiar calming voice is a real soul balm tonight. I’m to poorly to craft but I can watch you and make notes in my ideas journal. And that’s enough for me tonight, ❤ xxx Thankyou xxx
I’m so so sorry to hear that your mum died; I know how you feel. I lost my mum 5 years ago and especially every Christmas I miss her terribly. You will always miss her but it gets better, I promise. God bless and wishing you much love for the New Year xx

My craft room is a disaster. I’m getting ready to start junk journal January. lol. I have a giant pile on my desk of things to use. Christmas is still out. Oh my. In the middle I started making Christmas jewelry so I never did finish my journals. It will be easier to do them next year. After losses, sometimes it’s just more healing to chill out and then get back to our other loved ones later instead. I’m praying for you. Sending love and hugs, treen 💕💕💕💕💕💕

Good to have you back.
Since the video where you started this paper bag journal - I made four - one for myself ( for work notes) and other three as presents for people who’ve seen mine and asked for one too ( my work colleagues and my son). However, they are all pretty plane, without much embellishments, as their purpose was to be used for work notes / drawings. Now you inspired me to make another one with shabby style embellishments. I really love creating these paper bag journals.

You could glue a bit of a rubber band around the inside of your little finger dauber thingy. That should tighten it up and keep it on your finger. ❤

Great to see you Gi - I hope that you and Andy had a great Christmas? Mine was very sad as my ex (with whom we split in 1998, then met up again as friends in 2009)passed away last week, aged 62. He had a long illness after his Covid jab, and it finally took his life, so it has been a shock and very sad indeed. Sorry to be the bearer of sad news. You could put non slip Matt in there. In a circle so it grabs your finger. We have non slip Matt to hold phones on slanted surfaces. If you can’t find any I can send some. I think mine is purple. 💜

I haven't been doing much. Unfortunately, I have Covid. I think I'm getting better, but I'm just so tired all the time. I haven't done any crafting since I got sick. I'm hoping to be over in by the end of this (2nd) week.
