@@TugaAvenger ..The Intel was the plans to use Stonehenge Gun array to shoot down the Arsenal Bird. If Full Band was not killed by Bandog; The Eruseans would have stopped and destroyed their strategy.
There are also the Mirage 4000 variants, as well as the Mirage's successor: the Rafale. All moving canards were tested on the Mirage series before applying them to the Rafale. The Super Mirage, proposed for the French ACX program, was the precursor of the Rafale. It featured a twin engine, canard delta, tailless configuration. Elements of this program were later used in the French proposal to the Yugoslav air force for their own next generation fighter. The Yugoslav wars saw the end of this program, but the Rafale was later adopted by the French Air Force.
Watching this back, it's SO frustrating that these mysteries were never solved. Like, what did Fullband discover exactly? Did Bandog ever face consequences? Count gets over it quickly too. It's one of those things that annoys me, because it leads nowhere. If you are gonna create these loosed threads that the player is forced to watch, might as well make them occur mid battle and easy to ignore or not at all
It's implied Full Band discovered the Stonehenge operation and details on the Arsenal Bird. He blabs about it in mission 7, and recognizes the Helios explosion in 8. And remember, that mission was almost compromised by the Erusean agent. Might have been his fault.
@@TugaAvenger Then killing Fullband like that is forcing the player to watch something in gameplay that should have happened in a cutscene. Say he was leaking info, he was already in jail. Take him off the penal squadron, send him to a higher security prison and interrogate him. If he was an Erusean collaborator, try and execute him normally. Even if he wasn't going to be tried and executed, killing him only lead to unnecessary animosity while meaning that whomever was his contact went unresolved. The only real possibility would be Bandog being the double agent, leaking info to the Eruseans and using Fullband as the scapegoat. That would make more sense, since he could go "Oh, well... We shall never know who inside the Osean Defence Forces was leaking info to Fullband, how he was getting it inside jail and then transmitting it to the Eruseans."
@@LuizAlexPhoenix I think the issue is that you're ignoring the fact that it wouldn'tbe just Full Band getting interrogated and/or executed, it would be the whole 444th Air Base. Full Band got highly confidential information through bribes and lazy guards not taking security seriously, and he is both breaking OPSEC by talking about it in an open channel he would 100 percent sell it to the Erusians if he could because he's both an asshole, and also hates Osea for imprisoning him. And I doubt Bandog's reasons for tagging him as an enemy were very altruistic either, it was both to save his own ass *and* to get rid of a pilot he personally hated and was making his job borderline impossible at times, if it was even on purpose (it probably was), he didn't care about the rest of Spare or the 444th, _maybe_ the rest of the Osean armed forces, but only because it would affect the war effort. tl:dr Full Band and Bandog are both assholes, but FB is a dangerous asshole and he had to go, otherwise he would've ruined Osea's plans to destroy the Arsenal Bird.
That was a very clean run, I have to say! The Mirage's speed certainly helps move from cloud to cloud. When I did it, I just pretty much cheesed it with the Bulletproof Tank + Auto-Extinguisher combo, it works, but it doesn't look as nice as your performance. :P
Thank you. Honestly, I put it all down to the LASMs - and realizing them and LACMs will perfectly target anything they can see. My first time playing this mission on Ace was pain and misery too...
I went with LAGMs on the MiG-29 because I thought the radius would be more useful (And because the Gripen and Rafale, the two LACM carriers, were already fixed for future missions), but maybe swapping the Mirage's and Fulcrum's positions would've been a better choice, since I used the former in Mission 7. Ah well, my run's already all recorded and up anyway, so no point in dwelling on it, and I did get the S Rank on my first try, so it worked out!
No known location fits. On a side note, Count has HK (likely Heierlark) and Tablid has MN (likely McNealy). They really should ahve been the opposite, as a little teaser to Tabloid's origins.
@@TugaAvenger maybe AD is for Andersen, the new aircraft carrier that ran aground or maybe I'm missing something. I already confirmed it's AD not AO through visual identification in the start of mission 8.
Good guess. He does fly a Hornet, so it's perfectly possible. The carrier is called "Admiral Anderson" so AA would be more likely, but maybe that was taken and they went with AD. Who knows, but that's the best guess I've heard so far.
Dunno, he's probably on his 20s and having an active career as a combat pilot. Having someone very close to you might not be a good idea if said someone becomes a widow

I would say it has to do with Stonehenge because in Mission seven they were talking about ruins to when the Escort the LRSSG through Yinshi Valley

I use the Raven with self repair and all survival modifications that I can take 2 missile without problem
This was recorded before Ravens even came out.
