In Auto Piloting it’s normal. Pilots are required for landing and takeoff only

Is it so?, not exactly, if no response from the pilots for certain period of time or any other abnormal climate then auto pilot should changed to manual mode.

When you fly alone in the flight we shall pray pilots should take full rest after take off and while landing time.

They put in Autopilot mode no problem even though they sleep. Only their work start while landing and takeoff. Even in ship they use autopilot mode. Vessel is fully controlled by satellite with fixed safe routes.

Even though they need to be vigilant , need to respect their uniform and oath ,its not a tipper or lorry if driver sleep it hit directly on central meridian , In ship, if the vessel route change of about 50meters from fixed safe route , sometimes they do to give way to incomeing fisherman boats , the onshore controll room people will get alert and give warning to Bridge. Bridge people repliy with the current situation and come back to the safe route once the traffic get cleared .
