Great video, Mads - can't wait to the following about Tuscany and Val d'Orcia. I have been in this area 2-3 times each year for the last 5 years or so, and in just 2 weeks I relocate to Tuscany for work. So I can't wait to capture Val d'Orcia in all four seasons, but also the less famous areas - Tuscany and Italy in general has so much to offer for Landscape Photographers.

OMG - your pictures and videos are divine. Fantastic Job❤My favourite? The one with the hot air balloon on the top left hand corner with the tree on the bottom right hand corner @ 18:45 - 19:04. I love pictures with two focal points opposite from each other "framing" the landscape in between. I seem to see the whole picture at once. What a stunning composition!

It’s about time! It’s such a pleasure to see you in action on the hunt for light in Tuscany, my home region, where I was born and grew up, and an area that, as far as possible, I know like the back of my hand.
First of all, simply to satisfy my own curiosity, I do have a question for you regarding your night session at the famous cluster of cypresses near San Quirico D’Orcia.
Your two compositions are very beautiful, and I particularly like the one that takes advantage of the dirt path as a guiding line. But, 200 meters past this cluster, along the main unpaved path, there is another incredible spot that, for night photography, is equally powerful. At the top of the small hill, you can find a picturesque ring of cypresses that you can use in your composition by placing the core of the Milky way in the middle of it, starting directly from the road. Haven’t you seen this spot, or have you not deemed it attractive?
In addition, I totally understand that you had to make the most of the time you had (and thankfully, it would take months to visit and enjoy each and every gem hidden in Val D’Orcia and Crete Senesi). It was reasonable to linger on the most famous locations. But in the area, there are spots much less known and inflated that are, arguably, even more beautiful and characteristic. It would be nice if you allowed me to introduce you to these gems the next time you come.
Have a nice day, and keep it up with your incredible work.

I was photographing at all the location you visited three weeks ago and it’s just as good as you say. Even though we have all seen photo by others it’s hard to explain the emotion of taking them yourself in the fantastic early and late light. Unfortunately even though we were in position at 5:00 am every morning we didn’t get any mist due to 32 deg C temperature with no rain every day. However it wasn’t quite as busy as you seem to have found it, which was good.
