Deleting and inserting rows. I always make an additional column with the upgoing numbers 1,2,3,4 etc. You can isolate the unwanted rows by sorting on the right column. And you can always go back to the sort of the 1,2,3,4 column.

I could not get this to work , selected rows, insert , but it inserted the number of rows selected pushing the selected rows down, not what I wanted? you also say ctrl n + r , but when I tired ths I ended up wthe a new shee befroe I could hit r .

Hi brother you can use sorting. You can apply filter using shortcut key Ctrl + Shift + L, after you apply filter sort relevant column from A to Z or Z to A
