    It is 100w input. I have one. If you use a crap plug and cable, you wont get 100w. Also, you can supply input power to both usb c inputs at the same time. The amount of input wattage will vary depending the percentage of charge in the battery.

    I purchased the Jackery over the Anker because Jackery clearly stated they use LiFePO4 batteries, which has 1000s of cycles and I can charge and discharge however I like without the chemistry degrading

      Anker battery degrades to 80% in less than 20 cycles, good call

    Chemistry is a very important part about these devices -- you skipped mentioning anything about it. The Anker product listing you shared has "Lithium ion" and "Lithium Polymer" which is a contradiction. There is no mention of cycle count, which if they made a statement of such, it would confirm which of the two chemistry the battery actually uses. Durability wise, it seems a drop of the Anker unit on cement could be fatal with it's small glassy design. The Jackery unit (which I have), you can feel the actual cells are in the center of the unit's mass and the surrounding is hollow. So it would take lots of drops -- it might damage the case, but the cells and function would continue. The Anker is a lot more in price, also.
    At the start of the video when you mention the solar panel, I thought you might actually do something in testing it with the two units. Disappointed when it was all just "oh yes, both can plug into this". Charging rate of such would be?1?

      This jackery one was the only one in the power bank form factor that I found so far that uses lifepo4 cells.

    The jackery is also bigger because this is a 30000mha battery and not a 20000mha like the anker. For the same price here in france i think i will go with the jackery (to play in the garden with some gizmo).

      Jackery is 99.2Wh, Anker is 72Wh

      You will only get close to 30000 mah if you are only pull around 3.7v. That is rare with all of these quick charge devices. You plug a newer phone into this and it will pull around 20v, reducing you to around 5000 mah. These batteries are not very big at all.

    Hi, great video, ive just purchase the anker prime and when charging my phone its only producing 17w. Is this because the battry is over 50%? Will it be faster with a much lower battery

    • @ToolsElectroDIY
      @ToolsElectroDIY  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The charging speed is determined by several factors such as the maximum wattage input of your phone , the cable quality, the state of charge %

    Anker is more refined than the jackery. Love the stand for the Anker. Easy to keep it topped up

    for any future upgrades Jackery should have 240w on both USB-C ports and also increase the battery size to 250-300 wh

      The battery size is limited to 99wh so you can take it in the plane, there is a hard limit for that. They do make bigger units, but this one has a very specific reason for being that size. 240w would be cool, not sure if the battery can handle that

      They make some other models as well

    • @DylanDurdle
      @DylanDurdle 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@svenasmussen8745 it's passively cooled so the wattage caps in place (per port and overal input/output) factors in heating. The faster power goes in and out, the hotter the cells will get. That's why the larger unit models that provide larger wattage in/out are actively cooled by a fan.

    Anker battery will degrade to 80% in less than 20 cycles I've owned one. If you know whats good for you just get the jackery while its on sale for 80 bucks. I dont know why people still trust anker, their products have a history of failing and catching fire. They make the products look nice but its complete garbage. Also no offence but dont trust the first review you watch especially if they dont have months owning a device and a better understanding of how they work

      I have owned and used the anker prime 27,650 bank since its release, and it is still charging up my levno leigon 1 and 1/2 times like it did when new. The anker app shows 56 charge cycles so far.
