I just reimbursed my customer in Germany last night, we gave up on the LUCID thing, this is ten times more complicated than learning Catia and Solidworks combined. I produce decorative items made of resin that are very heavy and need a lot of reinforcement for packaging. I'm Canadian and 90% of my clientele is from the US, Canada, and a bit from the UK. Still, it's always nice to have a person appreciating your work overseas but it is what it is. I will not be selling to these countries that have that system anymore. Shame!
Am still confused, because as a private seller i can't predict how much of items am going to sell to Europe! I sell vintage stuffs not New. So if i declare for example 1 kilo of plastic for this year which is way too far from what am going to use as small packets made of plastic, what whould happen if i exceeded that 1 kilo of plastic, and if not what do i need to do, if i used only 300grams of plastic to ship to germany this year???
@@MaximizingEcommerce I discussed this with someone else, why doesn’t the buyer pay the cost for the “waste” of the package being in their country instead of going after a citizen whom they have no jurisdiction from a different country. Receiving items internationally ain’t cheap but if you’re a buyer who wants something someone has you should pay the price and having the item brought to your country
@@Boxbeat666 that’s a real shame. I have a good amt of British buyers so it will only hurt them when they see Americans won’t send packages to them anymore

Good video, but do I account for all packaging from the moment of manufacture? If it’s repackaged at any distribution point?

At the end of the year, you file a return with actual numbers. There is also a minimum charge (which is relatively small).
i have bouth the EPR number. and since 17 oct i am not approved why is that ? MANY OF US BOUGHT THIS AND STILL NOT APROVED
Who hasn't approved it? Amazon or the government. Not sure of the situation, but it me awhile for Amazon to approve my number if I remember correctly.
This just ruined amazon for all smaller sellers. It's the end of the road.
Please leave UK alone for this
Are you asking the UK government to not add EPR? (I would agree)
