- Sky News host Sharri Markson says the Sydney Festival boycott is effectively “cancel culture of an entire country”.
“And the tactics we've seen over the past month with the Sydney Festival are not new,” Ms Markson said.
“They've been tried and tested in other markets - the US and the UK.
“We thought the anti-Semitism that we watched with horror unfolding overseas was far removed from our society.
“But it's not.”
What ever happened ti their Diversity, Inclusion and Equity principles? As long as your their right kind of diversity (definitely not white, terf, christian or jew)

I have a good friend who is a former Sth African, a woman of color, non-Jewish living for many years in Israel.
She left Sth. Africa in her early 20's to fly away from Apartheid to volunteer in and eventually make her home as an equal in Israel.
Note: she flew TO a free State of Israel not to an Apartheid one.

Judism and being Jewish is not necessarily support of Israel. Israel does not voice the opinion of all Jews. Many Jews are very critical of Israel and it's actions. This reporter is very much pro Israeli rather than reporting the news naturally. I would suggest to boycott this reporter and her channel.

Well then - Google says that Israel took land from Jordan in 1967 after the latter attacked Israel.
Jordan had been given that land by the British after they won it off the Turks during World War 1. The Turks had been there for 400 years.
Google also says that it took land from Egypt and Syria in the same war.
Although there is no legal obligation to return land taken in a war of self-defense, Israel did so in exchange for peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan.
Anything else is at best ignorance and at worst, fabrication.
By the way, the PLO (that's Palestine Liberation Organization for you, in case you don't make it to Google) was founded in 1963 - years before any so-called "occupation", leading to the conclusion that their aim is not the return of "the territor'ies" but the destruction of Israel.
